Guess what most US based gun enthusiasts did when they were younger... In Germany you'd be looked down upon as if you were a potential spree killer if you showed up at your local gun range or going hunting in "combat gear".

It's good enough. Only the lighting system is messed up. Some setting should not be toggable to give a good experience, if you play too much with the settings it gets really weird visual wise...

If you add up all the money you spend on console games you would have a good computer...PC games cost a lot less. You save on the hardware side, you spend double on the software and perimeter side.

What tone would you like other than black when it's dark and there are no other light sources? Even NVGs wouldn't work in a lightless environment if they don't have active lighting. The flashlight shaking is a model problem, it might be a bit overtuned but IRL you would also shake a bit especially if you are 24/7 excited like in the DayZ environment...

Do all survivors have a military background...? Imo 60% wouldn't. Why i think that: If male and females are about 50/50 only a fraction would have served, especially in the american military. Over a half wouldn't even know what the things are you mentioned because they would be too old. A lot more wouldn't even care because they would have other problems than to gear up for war...

That's the problem, if you reduce the magnification it will only make it a better rifle at close to medium ranges, like it is now you can't really use it close up, you need at least 200m to be able to use it properly when scoped. And the AWS isn't that rare..normal server, 5 players, found 3 in less than1 hour at heli crashes... only because it has a 0.0000000001% spawn probability doesn't mean it will not be there. You either find nothing for days, maybe one or two, sometimes a lot.

Mechanic Idea: Blood Transfusion Cannot recover blood lost due to hunger.

Yep, you can't just infuse the blood and suddenly feel better, you need to feed in order to get your daily ration of vitamins, mierals and whatever to keep your body running. And afaik the devs mentioned something about splitting food and health. -
Keys are fine but they would have to be limited the server to limit traffic ( imagine 1000 servers with 100 vehicle each and imagine how much traffic that would cause for the hive with all the players connecting and disconnecting ) every key needs a specific ID so you can't just hop to another server and use it on a similar vehicle and the same applies to all vehicles...traffic...lag....waiting for character to create...

In fact the one infected were western soldiers who invaded the country, they raped the women and died because they broke their penises after cumming. The women got eaten by their mutant zombie babies while giving birth after a day and those became adults in a day, too - so now you have a story to what happened over there and why there are so many western weapons available...80% of the weapons players use have western origins from what i see what our team was using... -

Don't ask me, a lot of players like to play female characters for obvious reasons ( 99,9% players who bought / will buy tomb raider are male ) so i wonder why they have ben removed...

Although Skyrim has a good method with learning by doing i don't want it in DayZ at all, at least you can call the Skyrim system revolutionary compared to other skill trees in other games where you level up and only choose skills the munchkin way. A player can make a difference on how the game flows for him/her just by using his/her braincells. A dimwit ( no offense ) can never get that far and they usually are those people who rely on skillsets to get an advantage on other players in games and still fail...In ArmA it's learn the ropes or go get the darwin award.

It does matter, when you have to do the stuff on the server you can be found....unlike with a phone app which will probably not work anyway because BIS is already is working to their limits to keep ArmA playable with all the bugs they introduce in every update.

Thats's also true but sometimes you want to reach beyond your horizon and i won't forbid them to do exactly that. While IRL when you had an apocalypse you wouldn't find any handicapped people on the streets except for Eli... -
The hive solution is already putting stress on servers, the percentage of stress you add by making players go to other servers in the meanwhile will add close to nothing because a lot of players switch servers for whatever reason, switching servers due do death would be a fraction of all switching reasons. A few minutes of cooldown should be a good way to deal with deathmatchers and careless people to be "less offensive" / more careful next time.

Damn thing is only because it looks cool doesn't mean it's useful... Hitman Absolution has such a wonderful shitty system. Only because you hug the wall the AI can't see you where they actually have absolute line of sight, on the other hand they see you unless you hug the wall no matter if they don't have line of sight.
