  1. Not sure if already posted, but boat trailers, rowing boats and man-portable canoes/inflatable boats would be awesome, since we'll have some new islands too. Classic boats tend to be hard to hide, but a canoe could be hidden more easily. :)

    Great work with the zombie hordes. I wish there will be zombies laying still (and making only subtle sounds) that would jump and attack players close enough, or maybe just grab their feet. Then you couldn't be sure if a body laying in the ground is actually safe to pass by. And if you can make them spawn sitting inside car wrecks, even better... B)

    DayZ Mod 1.7.6.1 Hotfix

    I was going to hate the new item names, but I decided to keep my mouth shut until seeing them in game. I haven't tried the update, but I saw a screenshot of the new food items in the inventory, and they weren't distracting at all. Maybe if this screenshot would have been provided by the developers in the change log this whole mess wouldn't exist. :rolleyes: Communication, folks, communication. Both "sides" :thumbsup:

    If the game is difficult enough (almost hopeless for even exerienced players) the amount of KoS will obviously decrease. Imagine having only 5 rounds for your crappy Makarov when you have to decide whether to kill an unarmed stranger and get a shitload of zombies after you or try to co-operate for a while or at least avoid a conflict. That's just my dream, though... :D

    Nice, I almost got killed by zombies. I really don't remember the last time that happened... :D Stop whining about zombies being too hard, because they aren't. This is a zombie survival mod. :rolleyes:

Dynamic lights would also add purpose for flares and flashlights when entering windowless buildings or caves. :) It would be terribly exciting to loot a dark hospital cellar with only a flashlight. And please, please add candles, just for the atmosphere! :D EDIT: removed youtube embed from quote
  13. Skateboards & roller skates! Would be awesome with some melee weapons! :D And of course skis, snowmobiles etc... (if there will be snowy areas)
  14. I didn't say it should be effortless. If there will be less bullets and more zombies, one wouldn't simply cowbell his way through all the fuel spots wasting all the ammo.

Don't know if already mentioned, but an engine generator could be nice for recharging batteries, powering light bulbs etc. Of course it would require lots of fuel and make some noise but it would also bring a new aspect for a more persistent style of playing. In my opinion the fuel sources around Chernarus shouldn't be infinite, but become depleted at some point instead. The tanks at the gas stations should also be destroyable for strategic purposes.
  16. As DayZ is all about survival, clothing features should be improved a lot. Not only for visual personalization, but also for thermal and camouflage purposes. In cold weather, you should start stuttering if you don't have proper clothes and shoes. Also, wearing too heavy clothes on sunny weather could cause faster dehydration etc. Shoes of course affect mobility too. Ever tried to run in a forest with some crappy flip flops? :D Clothes could also have camouflage factors (for zombies) based on their color, material etc. Wet clothes get heavier and don't keep you warm like dry clothes do.

  21. I was kinda surprised when I noticed that the heartbeat thing is preserved from character to another. What if I want to play one character as a ruthless bandit and the next one as an all-friendly medic?
