As of right now, it's pretty difficult to locate a dead survivor by sound. You're just walking in circles listening to the flies. How about a nose icon that increases the way the eye and ear do when we're getting close to a dead survivor, the smell of rotting flesh would be easier to find than the sound of flies. I can be 50 meters from the body and it will sound like im on top of it, and I can be next to it and only hear a few flies.

First off, I want to thank everyone who had contributed to making this one of the most fun (&successful) mods out. The "Fuck this I'm leaving, Rocket screwed it up" post's are really wearing thin. We're part of the development team as testers, it's our job to find bugs and report them..and if we have fun in the process, awesome. One thing you should know about coding is, when one error is fixed...twenty more are likely to pop up, and it's our job to find it. Rocket and his team can't possible find every bug during their pre-release testing..that's where we come in. Our player numbers right now allow for weekly updates. This many players means more bugs discovered and remedied. I can understand how it can be frustrating to be having a blast, and a new update bugs something you enjoyed. Suck it up, report it, and expect an update soon. Other titles release quarterly updates, be thankful you won't have to wait months for hotfixes. Now, with that said, those who threaten to leave...either do so..or stick around and help find the bugs and exploits so they can be fixed. The more players that report bugs, the faster beta comes and the faster a final release will be here. -

As of right now, if I fire of an Enfield, any Zed that hears it will run straight to me. I understand that they can hear it, that's fine, it seems like a longshot that they'll pinpoint my exact location to the foot,even if I'm tucked away in the mountains. A better system (imo), would be that they would hear a general direction and run that way, if you're not in their line of sight..you've lost them. Just a suggestion.

No servers with night time anymore?

No, the problem is most servers are running inverted time scales. Most people play when they get off of work or whatever during the evenings..this is why there aren't many servers in the night. -
I've noticed that loot spawning correlates with server pop. I've found the best gear in full servers and junk in low pop.

Lack of patience is what's getting people killed. You're not going to be able to sprint all of the time, if you're anywhere near a town..you're going to alert a zed. Be patient, walk crouch, and use prone. It may take a while, but it works...as it should. -
I just killed a bandit, went to take his items, as soon as I did.. a ghost of his body was standing over him and eventually collapses. I took one item from him and it wiped my inventory clean...stocked back up...found an M9SD..picked it up..inventory wiped clean. Anyone else facing this serious issue? Also, I've noticed if I face a certain direction, there is a waypoint to something. Anybody? Ok, now I have no Debug, my third person shows an invisible person, and anytime I picked up a new item, the inventory clears. I.E. I picked up a map and all my food, water, meds..gone.

For me, I'm always friendly if in the beginning. If you kill me, I'll just respawn, not a big deal. I usually try to avoid all human contact, but If I've been playing for a while and have some high quality loot, there's a 100% chance I'm going to kill you if you find me or sneak up on me. I was friendly all of the time in the beginning, but after being killed over and over for the "lulz", I've decided if I have something to lose...I'm going to shoot first if I can.

Since we carry our secondary on our shoulder, and have two shoulders, we should be able to carry 2 if we choose. Keep the inventory the same size so you'll have to evenly distribute ammo, but I would like to be able to carry 2 secondary weapons. It's an extra, what, 5 pounds?

The whole point of the mod, from what Rocket has said, is that the survivor groups are the only people left and are immune to the disease. There would be no other AI (military or other) immune players, it would go against the system that he's built.

In my opinion, people are trying to turn this into a military mod with some zombies around, instead of a zombie apoc mod, with the occasional military loot left over. People driving tanks, APC's, humvee's, and other armored equipment would be absurd. If you think player killing is bad now, add tanks and heavy armor...Zeds won't even be a threat...they barely are now.

As far as commonality, I think what Rocket is going for is that..at this point, everything has been looted and we're taking the left overs. If everything were as common as it were in real life, I could travel is MSTA, and find 8 flashlights, 2 cars, lots of canned food. Atleast, that's what I think the reason is. Places like Cherno, you would have to side step loot there would be so much.

Oh, I misread that part. As far as common, it may be luck, but i have seen 5 or 6 in 2 hours of gameplay. As few randomly against a fence or near a town.

Random 'Military Campsites'

I support any random loot spawn area's. As of right now, most people camp the military area's and server hop. I would love to find an M4 CCO outside of Pusta, or somewhere random like that. I know deerstands provide the equipment. -

This topic may have been touched on a few times, but I would like to ability to give a self transfusion. I already have the bag, I don't need their blood, why can't I do it? It might be to support a team dynamic, but since I don't have many friends that play this game, it makes it difficult. I'm not going to announce my location in chat and ask for help, because 99% of the time you'll get an ass wanting a free kill.
