    Crafting Journal ... How to access it!

    If you open the Lootconfig.hpp's, you can see exactly what you can make. Anything with a // infront of it is exempt and not currently craftable.
  2. The mods now are complete crap and are getting worse. Hundreds of thousands of high powered weapons and vehicles litter the coast. Every new mod that comes out has crazy scripts, way too many vehicles, and a plethora of weapons and ammo. It's just a massive PVP fest with the occasional zombie in the way. Now, you're going to say "If you don't like a mod, don't play it" Problem is, for every new mod that comes out..it takes more and more players away from the Vanilla version of the mod. The actual survival mod that Rocket and team put together. There are only a handful of Vanilla servers that stay populated now. Server numbers and mods are killing what DayZ is supposed to be. I love to watch streamers on one monitor while I play other games, but the last year or so I've been watching nothing but dog fighting in Bi-planes and C-130 bombing runs over the cities. Remember the days when you were excited to find a Makarov, or a bandage, or binocs? M4's are now considered items to be left behind. DayZero is the closest to regular vanilla there is right now, I enjoy it..but again..too many hospitals and military area's. /endrant.

    This is what I mean. People claim to want the "wilderness survival" aspect of the game, but quickly grow bored of it when it becomes difficult. That's what DayZ is. You want all those vehicles and weapons? You also have ARMA 2.

    To be honest man, it's not worth it at this point. The are SO many servers out there, the population is being spread between them. Unless you're an extremely popular server, you're not going to get the numbers you want. You'll be lucky to have 10 regulars after a month, and that's assuming you do something to set yourself apart. 90% of the severs out there have all of these custom scripts on them.

I feel this is fairly realistic as there would be some homeowners who would own assault rifles. http://hostingbytes....es/3/670930.jpg Farm/Barns: Have added a very small chance for an Entrenching tool, Sand bags, and a ghillie suit to spawn at these locations. These would be items I feel would be associated with a hunting/farm class. Percents are at 2-4% for these items Industrial: Added Sandbags and Etool to the table, low spawn chance, but now there's a chance. Hospital: Slight tweak to increase anti's from 1% to 3% in medical and hospitals. If you're brave enough to even try, leave your good gear at home..you probably won't be coming back. No new buildings have been added anywhere else on the map. This will not effect to balance or gameplay of Vanilla. AI only spawn here and only spawn when triggered. Zombies are currently being removed and NPC's are being adjusted. Should be ready for release later this evening 7/8/13 or tomorrow. Gun crate values are not final, there will not be THIS much gear.   10. We'd love to have you back. Once the clan starts playing DayZ again they'll come back (6-8 players). They're stuck on "The Last of us", currently.

    DayZ Commander updating DayZ and Origins Help!?

    Delete the folders and start over.
  15. I've noticed loot does this sometimes. I've gone to Polana quite a noticed it varies. I think this has to do with DayZ's loot timer. I think default is 10 minutes. It's also set to default where there's a 40% chance something will spawn somewhere. Also, not sure if you did, but driving up to areas will cause the items not to spawn..unless it's a heli crash. It's better to drive up to chose because loot spawns and zombies don't. :o) Only thing I did to industrial's was add a small chance of sandbag spawns so people could build stashes. They're not currently on this industrial table. There's a "military" drop, but the sandbags are not part of the "military" class on the table. They're a specific, sub-military class. My whole goal with this loot table it to move things around a bit the way I feel it would actually be. There would def be a small chance of finding an assault rifle in a house, a ghillie on a farm, a sandbag in a construction area, etc. Obviously the best weapons/gear will still be in the most dangerous area's, but for those that don't want to put their lives in danger..I feel it would be realistic to have a SMALL chance to find a basic AR in a house, as homeowners would own them.
  16. Open to suggestions and ideas. Currently working on an attachment system and new zombie mechanic.
