Anything being done to combat the cheater?

They are trying. But what do you do when your source is weak? Arma 2 wasn't made with the proper means of preventing hacking. They left the multilayer protection in the hands of Battleye. Which was decent, back then. All Dayz devs can do is make the mod better and make identifying the cheaters easier and or more punishable. But like you said, its will most likely destined to be an endless pit of reports. -

Nah. Whats the point if you have no current means of firing it? Adding, I don't think one drastically out performs the other in game. I'd prefer the m16, but I would be just as happy with either or. Now, emptying your backpack to fit the rifle until you found stag ammo is another topic. -
You should have guilt logging out to avoid anything besides bad connection.

Nothing wrong with having sympathy. Your judgement was on point, odds are they would have pulled the trigger on you as well. I would only feel guilty if they were unarmed.

I've seen streamers who are bad @ Dayz. But at least they a good outlook. They don't cry every time they lose gear XD You can become a better player, but you can't become more mature overnight.

i'm not to knowledgeable about Admins. Though some server I've joined have had the server's admin's name. Something like "billybob; Server's Admin". You didn't happen to get a sceencap of the player menu did you?

[FIXED] Unlimited Wire fence/Sandbag/Tank Trap Bug Hell YES! [NEW] Set Bear Traps that break player and infected legs, kills animals, when activated This will get interesting. Player are going to rage so bad. It should be entertaining to say the least. Love it!

In zombie apocalypse, gas stations are dry as citizens scavenge and flee. Makes sense imo. Maybe it couldn't be a rare occurrence down the road. Love that idea btw. :heart: :heart: :heart:

To my knowledge its not an offense to use a hacked weapon. But perhaps they can look at the logs and whatnot to see if he brought the weapon in.

I have been told the Cherno wilderness could be anywhere and yes that spawn is annoying imo. Follow the shore and attempt to find your location on a map like http://dayzdb.com/map. Or run for a couple mins, then disconnect and reconnect. Then in the lower right it will tell you where you are.

No. The I found most horror/survival games are better with a scarcity of ways of defending yourself. For example, which game is more immersive, Silent Hill or Amnesia? With a starting weapon finding the means to survive isn't as difficult. The balance isn't perfect, but I like the challenge.

Team up with some friends and help as they gear up. Try to find and or repair a vehicle. Make a fort. Help a noob stranger, its like adopting a bum :P. -

A GPU shouldn't go over 70ish C idle. Which maker/brand of GTS 240 do you have? If you tech savy, replace the thermal compound of the GPU and CPU. Might as well do both. Mind the warranty if you still have one. You can also add internal fans or put a big external fan blowing on your PC from that back. Remove the back accessory metal covers. Download and install SpeedFan. If your GPU is idling at 90 C now, use Speedfan to turn the GPU fan on like 95% before it pops.
