Lol. There is no "honor" in this game. People play how they want.

I would like to suggest more focus on features players actually notice
spartanxapathy replied to alleycat's topic in Suggestions
And you will see those things, in time. The game, alpha, has been out what, 2.5 months? Compared to day 1 I'd say they are making decent progress. Tents go into internal testing soon, camping/hunting/cooking next major focus... Soon man. Soon. -

Sorry they don't cater to just your needs. -
Am I the only one looking forward to this?

Just because Dean said he like Project Zomboid doesn't mean he will implement this. As far as I have ever heard him say he isn't interested in doing skill trees or perks or whatever you want to call this. Oh, I heard Dean liked CoD so it's a no-brainer that killstreaks are coming soon! -
Game lacks support for AMD Cpu's & Amd Crossfire systems

Maybe stay off of roofs... Also, where are 5 foot rooftops, and who lives in these places?

Update Rev. 0.36.115535 (Experimental branch)
spartanxapathy replied to Hicks_206 (DayZ)'s topic in News & Announcements
Stable is still a couple of weeks away. We want to avoid the issues that we have been introducing by not adequately testing the experimental builds. Much of what is currently in Experimental is *very* experimental, we're legitimately testing out some big changes to some core systems to see how they go. View full context on Reddit We are preparing a second, longer, animation for eating all that will iterate through more loops.View full context on Reddit -
Yeah, he was a tag along, I think he was just about that age probably.

Bring up Iron sights middle of run?
spartanxapathy replied to OldWolf (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
You can right click while sprinting to set your state to aimed down sight, but you'll need to drop from sprint to jog to actually be able to aim down your sight. Bind "Turbo" to a button, use that instead of double tap W to sprint. Then you just have to release the Turbo key and you can bring up your gun and fire. It's a bit faster and more fluid than having to release a double tapped W and press it again. Hope that made sense, I'm tired. -

He makes videos for entertainment purposes, and does it well. I honestly wasn't a fan of the new episode for some reason. -
Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.[1][2] The FBI's Hostage Barricade Database System shows that roughly 8% of victims show evidence of Stockholm syndrome.[3] Stockholm syndrome can be seen as a form of traumatic bonding, which does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes "strong emotional ties that develop between two persons where one person intermittently harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other."[4] One commonly used hypothesis to explain the effect of Stockholm syndrome is based on Freudian theory. It suggests that the bonding is the individual's response to trauma in becoming a victim. Identifying with the aggressor is one way that the ego defends itself. When a victim believes the same values as the aggressor, they cease to be a threat.[5] Battered-person syndrome is an example of activating the capture-bonding psychological mechanism, as are military basic training and fraternity bonding by hazing.[dubious – discuss].[6][7][8] Stockholm syndrome is sometimes erroneously referred to as Helsinki syndrome.[9][10] -Wiki

:beans: Good videos -
I think it depends on your sickness. Food poisoning can be reversed by vomiting I believe, but yes, after vomiting you need to get back to energized and hydrated or you basically shot yourself in the foot.

IDK man, I have played a ton of DayZ (mod incl) and I have seen something similar to the "hopping around". Spawned on Otmel, literally 5 feet behind another new spawn. He proceeded to "teleport" to elektro. I use teleport lightly because he was only able to jump forward maybe 40-50 yards. I know its close to Elektro, but it takes longer that 45 seconds to get to the center of Elektro from the little island. I can confirm it was that fast as I had friends in Elektro that confirmed seeing him jump around town. Also, there is a video from DevilDogGamer in which there is a guy on Balota hill trolling him and tele'ing 20 yards away or so from his location, appears that they can only go a limited distance and in a straight line. Maybe OP's issue was desync, but I am positive the one I witnessed was not.

I wanna stand in Elektro and be like the guy in Skyrim "TALOS LOVES YOU! I LOVE YOU!", thank god work is almost over. Way to spread feels into the apocalypse  -
Anyone going to KoS today and say Happy Valentines?

"I LOVE YOU!" *gunshots* "you are dead." -
Some people use it as a credible way to give information to people that may not have heard/watched a stream or interview. Not just to be a dick and say "Your idea isn't what Rocket wanted".
-
And everyone in TS laughed at me when I said "Guyyyyyyyyys! Theres a raaaaaainbow!" with much exuberance... Bastards.
-
As far as the first option goes, I voted no, Just because you hit a Z in the head once does not mean you crushed his skull, esp if you are hungry/dehydrated, etc.

From what I heard Rocket say the medical system has changed a bit. 0 Blood now equals death. Prev it was only 0 Health. You can check pulses on players and use defib if heartbeat is irregular while unconscious. You can have a heart attack (only happens while unconscious ATM) That's all I can think of off the top of my head, there are some optimizations and whatnot, doesn't seem like they added a lot of items.
