I think bear traps would be awesome IF there is a way to disable them without walking on them. I also would like trip wire fences to be removed, as they are just a stupid way to block people getting into looting spots. There is no real reason for them.

So long story short. I want to change my FOV to 90. Guide said go to My Documents/ArmA 2/ and open up USERNAME.ArmA2OAProfile in notepad. But only things I have in ArmA 2 are "ArmA2.cfg" and "Arma2OA.cfg" Both have the fov values but changing them doesn't affect my FOV. I have USERNAME.ArmA2OAProfile and USERNAME.ArmA2Profile files in Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\USERNAME I have changed every file's FOV values to what I desire but nothing changes. Also I copied USERNAME.ArmA2OAProfile and USERNAME.Arma2Profile files to the "correct" folder (Documents/Arma 2/) but nothing works. Helps plz edit: nevermind. Chaging Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\USERNAME\USERNAME.ArmA2OAProfile works after all

I'm so frustrated. Ive been trying to get this work for 3 days straight. (not quite but...) So I managed to connect to server but I can't see anything but ground. Then I installed files from torrent and I finally got my character to show up in 3rd person view. But still cant see anything else. Hud shows up. Random player bodies and characters someplace in the grass desert but they just stand or are dead. Don't know whats that about. Also found an animal standing still. Seems like it loads only a few things? And I cant chat in side channel because it has been for some reason dropped off.

So I bought Arma2:CO from Steam and started downloading them. When Arma 2 was ready I started it once to the main menu. When Arma2:OA was ready I started both Arma2:OA and Arma2:CO once to the main menu. After that I installed Six Updater and installed DayZ. When I click a server from DayZ launcher, it starts the game and after "wait a moment" screen it goes full black and says "wait for host" until I press esc and it goes to main menu with glitched background. I have also tried to install all files (Arma beta and DayZ) manually. Same thing happens. If I run through Steam ("-mod=@Dayz" and right click Arma2:OA and "run Arma2:CO") I see servers from multiplayer, but it gets stuck to black screen and "loading" with full bar above it (means probably 100% downloaded). I seem to have problems with BattlEye. I can play all normal Arma multiplayers. I have installed BattlEye files manually but I when I try to "reinstall" to normal Arma2, it says "Game currently unavailable..." but I have installed those files also manually. I have now reinstalled and redownloaded Arma2:CO for 3 times and started and tried everything in quite many different orders. I could not find any solutions that worked from the forums. Please help :(
