I think it's a great idea, preparing traps with will be awesome!! Luring people into specific situations can be really fun... like leaving radio in hospital to announce intruder that he is surrounded to lay his weapons would be great! -
And what you expected? Every Friday night changelog of the week? They are working on things that are not that interesting (server architecture, pathfinding, location adjustments etc). Be more patient, we've got some review from Rocket in 2 months... than we find out how long to Alpha release...

Thanks for fast response. I wish to play DayZ SA sooner than at March/April :) But in case that Rocket will need more time I will wait :) I was a bit afraid though :) -

I am just curious... I think that Dean (rocket) didn't post anywhere any expectation of ETA for DayZ SA right? I just read article from one PC magazine here in Czech Republic and they claimed that DayZ: SA will come at end of April. That is assumption right? No ETA was announced... Dean did not mentioned any hopes for specific time right? (Before article I had feeling that i heard something about late February / early March) -
Well, I think that this is more case of Open Beta tests. My full time job is testing software products for one international company and I can see that if people are excited about something they can be very generous. So people which are picked for these invites are in Major so happy to be IN that they will repay with hard work. (in most cases) But not everyone will for sure... and reporting is not all, same importance as reporting is to check that you dont create a duplicate of another bug report. There is no need to have 90% of the same bug only because it is a easy one to find :) I hope that they will polish game fast, cuz i cant wait :_D

Rocket reacted to this several times. There won't be higher requirements than for mod. Mod is using really complicated character models for zombies which caused a lot of performance issues. I think that HW requirements will be same or lower than for DayZ mod. Although not sure if it will run smoother or not compared to vanilla Arma II :) -

Have anybody answer on this question? Will New Inventory system require micromanagement as old one was? Like magazines from backpack will can't be used to reload weapon so I need move them into main inventory or hot spot? It was great part of old UI to spend time in inventory to figure out what I will need and what I won't need. P.S: It would be great to have need to crouch somewhere take off your backpack and look in it :) -

Rocket is already working on this kind of Adventure so no. And with your english it would not be a good idea to let you go near to DayZ: SA :-D -
Are there any closer informations about Base system that will be introduced in DayZ: SA? like what we will need and how we will be able to upgrade it? what will be our options? :)

Agree with 4L4N, which agrees with me. :-D I hope that EU server will be there soon, and i am sad that i can't help you with picking a host for you server :( Well good luck with that and i am looking forward to any brave change that you will make ;) -

Well i prefer to have the option play DayZ also at night. So it doesn't have to be realistic to EU but i would set it up closer to our time zone. No twilight at 7-9 pm but at 10-11 it would be fine :) -
WarZ looked pretty promising. I have to admit that Environment graphics and effects are amazing!!! But aside of that everything else is really bad. Bad animations, bad game mechanics and bad payment options (Healing, Instant Weapon modding, and pay-to-win style). Now it is only something like Alpha version of DayZ SA :) with unfinished everything :-D

Played yesterday for couple of hours... and changes are awesome... really thanks Venthos - i am pretty suprised how well you are doing these changes :) Honestly best Private Hive Server i have seen so far. I hope you will get EU server running soon ;) -

I hope you made it more user friendly but same mechanic. So at first or at move you can see only items in your hot slots now in the bag... for items in the bag you have to open bag as itself. Same system for USING items... not that you have a bandage in backpack so you can instantly used it... i really like that system that you have to actually manage your inventory!!!!
