Provided you have found water you can travel a long way before hunger starts being a major Right now (on what seems like a private hive) I have no storage I need the screwdriver to open the cans but it takes up the space of two cans dilemma, but Its actually refreshing and the fact that no one else has much either makes it pretty interesting. people seem to be more supportive or at least understanding and less aggro. How do I view the map? (Is there even a map available?) When you find a map it will be a local one showing only part of Chernarus NW, NE etc Put the map on a hot key or I think just placing it your hands will give you the view map option. How do I tell what time it currently is (in-game) ? It's time to die Server time in browser, though I don't think its as accurate as they would like. My character creation function doesn't seem to be working, I keep playing as the asian lady. Never had any issues with this, unless somethings changed. Do you click select default when you have set up your character? You need to die again before your new default is born. Hope that helps

-Can you kill a zombie without a weapon? Like, can you just punch a zombie to death? You can knock them out but I suggest running at that point. -Second, I did one time manage to find a hammer and I couldn't really hit a zombie with it, was that more of a lag / video issue, or do hammers not kill zombies? Have never tried. Melee can take awhile to get the hang of. If your definitely hitting them I'd say dsync or hammers are just shite -Third. At one point I did manage to get a fire extinguisher and kill a zombie with it. I tried to kill a second one a little while later, but to no avail. Are there zombies with different health and what not? As above -Fourth and last for this thread. Can I heal other people with rags? Have a bandage/rag in your hand and you'll see the option to bandage your friend, to stop any bleeding.It does not heal them. You need blood to heal one way or another. Diet. Blood bag. Etc Safe to say griefers are just part of the game

Being healthy also relies on being over a certain blood level. Have you lost blood? Eat less more often perhaps

That's end game for you make players an issue and see how that goes

I would say the biggest challenge is exactly what your experiencing. When a server has been picked clean of its goodies instead of hoping to another (that's been restarted recently) you stay there you experience desperation, can I find what i need to stay alive Of course this gets old very quickly, so find another server and try that. Hopefully its not stripped clean and you can live a little longer and experience more, shit happens a lot, you need to get used to that but there is more to this than meets the lack of baked beans.

Shotguns remind me of playing Doom. I liked Doom. They're also pretty good for firing 'in the general area' of someone aiming while you run around like headless chicken It doesn't matter if you hit them and you'll probably die trying but it's fun all the same.

interesting . yesterday on the ship i was upper deck and this player appears, spawned in front of me. I say hey, he freezes then logs out. Where he was is now a stab proof vest and an FNX45. Grabbed them both and about two minutes fell off the side of the boat and died. haha-ish

If you didn't have the problem beforehand then hopefully you saved a copy of the default config files you could try deleting local content through steam and re downloading the default files. ( note: you will need to download it again which is the many Gb's can't recall how many exactly)

You need to re-spawn (die) for your new default to take affect.

No sign of a canteen or a bag of rice in days I've been beaten up a little killing a few of the infected I've got sufficient food and drink but in an effort to conserve my resources I'm not gulping them down to get back to healthy. I need a bigger pack for more food, my med kits (mainly for bandages) are taking food space a saline set up, whether I'll need it or someone discovered does, who knows. I haven't seen a soul for days which is not a bad thing Was good. You got all smutty a the end of it and spoiled it pimp daddy

I looked for the doesn't even matter option but alas twasn't there. Ill play either, though i hate the blah exploit blah too. Combat in first person, kicking about in third. We can do that any time we wish if it all stays a choice.
