No not the sort you'd get from some cheap Cherno hooker.. I just can't seem to leave the coast, and the main reason isn't because I die often, though I do often enough for probably obvious reasons. I am happy to mill around Elektro and Cherno sniffing out bad and helping others I encounter with blood or meat. I've been to 'zino, nwaf and Zelenogorsk and the townships along the ways but there's not enough up north to drag me away from the sea. The 'High' end gear I can't be bothered with, an Enfield or Whinchester , a knife, matches, hatchet and meds and I'm good. Also any camps I create I've hidden to an extent but their contents a hardly worth stressing over if they get raided. Its a game you play as you will but I feel sometimes I'm doin it wong. Just curious if anyone else is just happy chilling on the coast?

Is the main reason I enjoy it I think. There's something happening more often. I'm a hero hermit as well. I now hunt murderers (and inevitably heal other murderers I'm sure but) and my skin was something I was initially proud to get but It became a burden to surviving for any great length of time in that environment. . I don't kill willy nilly, If I'm shot at or witness / suspect a player killer is about I react but being a constant a pacifist made me an angry brah and eventually have less regard for humanity in general. @ leviski Seems an oddity that AB's aren't scattered about the map. Not something I was aware of. I have had a hard time finding blood when I have ventured further around the map, just my bad luck or timing perhaps. ..and a sea kayak would handy dandy

I agree to a certain extent particularly with the mod, but it depends on the building / density of cover and far behind you they are in a more 'realistic' situation I think. If I followed someone into a multi roomed/doored building I'm not going to know exactly which room they are in or which door they went through, just as someone could lose me in dense bush.. unless they ran about like a mad elephant.

Yeah they weren't bandits IMO either, you had nothing yet they shot you so their just trolls with guns. But, you rolled the dice and lost that round but not every games the same. Have a little faith and don't take a gamble when you have more than your willing to lose.

Have to be a pretty dumb friendly to give a stranger ammo on the first meeting.

Talk to yourself using different voices... it may give the illusion your part of a large gang and more of a threat to anyone looking for an easy kill.

Does anyone know how persistent our character will be in the SA. A single character per account? Will we even have an account like setup? ya know..stuff like that.. ?

Agree. What I feel we lack though is the ability to recognise someone we have met before regardless of whether that encounter was good bad. With the mod we all can look the same, with nameplates off and the ability to change our name on the fly if they're on, it makes it difficult to tell friendly fred from bandiit bob even though we've ran into both players in our lifetime/s I know in theory each spawn is a new life therefore new memory but bollocks, we know where we are, that we died, where we died etc I was wonder how 'feature rich' our player journals will be in the SA and if they could include a list of people we have met with added notes about that person. We could then read the journals of others and find out about people they have interacted with in the past.
