Stick in there Try to see your early lives as learning curves, try things out, don't take death or losing gear too seriously and I'm sure the time between lessons will increase and so will your enjoyment of the game. Perhaps find someone in a similar situation on the forums and team up or maybe hook up with someone less new that's willing to help. -

1st found me in a blind state from hunger and dehydration and I asked him to kill me which took longer than he could be bothered hanging around for 2nd logged immediately, leaving his torch light behind, but no torch 3rd just ignored me and carried on his way, better than being shot I guess and I haven't seen anyone since -
So someone logs out and logs back in sometime later and they're a server hopper? Yes It would be a bit dumb to log out in a potentially busy area and not expect attention when you come back in. Camping isn't any further up the moral high ground though.

Thanks for being civil about it. Two people meeting halfway takes very little time "Risky the fully geared one" is is the main issue thought isn't it. I can understand why you wouldn't, but just letting people have a safe character and another to do what ever they want with (for good, bad or convenience) wouldn't be in the best interest of the game. If you wish to play a certain style, have a particular plan, you weigh up the risks and be prepared for the consequences. This is just my opinion.

I assume nothing except you have no imagination and can't think of how having another character is beneficial. I know having friends help each other is not the same as having a second character helping yourself. I know you've got shitty attitude toward other forum users I don't know why

With the mod there were private hives which meant a new character each private hive you connected to. There was also the public hive which was connected to a central database and your character persisted across other servers connected to that public hive. This is how the SA works as there are no private hives at the moment.

Would be nice. Throw the odd poisonous ones in for good measure. Plenty of fruit(less) tree's around too but I guess some things are seasonal. Just to be silly, I'd eat bugs too. -
Not the same thing at all. Helping yourself is not the same as other helping you. .and I just drop my shit somewhere, log off and wait out the timer and go get it on my other. A timer might stop abuse in combat situations but it won't prevent walking storage characters (or mule toons if you've ever played wow). Who wouldn't have a character at every loot hotspot on the map.

I like how your action menu along the bottom is a little more less Think there needs to be a option to change the gamma on that particular part of the screen. But yep, function first, fancy stuff can wait til post alpha

As long as the basics allow people to play freely but I think there's room for a more complicated system for those who want to dig into it , play Doctor and become a specialist.
