Indeed. The game needs more Russian oriented weapons, as Chernarus is kind of in / around Russia. The Russian army would be the first to fight the zombies and the first to take casualties. -
Same way you update the steam version. Go to the Bohemia site and download the beta patch.

Wrong. M240 doesn't have the longest range. It's not one shot kill, it's not any louder than the Mk48. Mk48 doesn't one shot kill either. Ammo just as rare as the M240 mags, not too rare, I have 6 mags and spares in my tent. http://dayzdb.com/database/weapon-comparison -
Mk48 does 8k damage and has a red dot sight and a grip. Other than that, it does the exact same damage and has the same range as the M240, it even uses the same ammo. Mk48 > M240. Both LMG's.

What you spawn with is not a bulletproof vest. It's an assault vest. Besides, bullet protection vests have several grades. Thin Kevlar vests will only protect you from small arms and knives but they weigh very little and can be easily hidden under a shirt. If you want to protect yourself from assault rifles, you'll need a ceramic vests, which weighs more than what your backpack would along with all the loot in it and it only protects your chest, not back, legs, arms or face.

Depending on your role. Snipers prefer Anti Material sniper rifles due to long range, accuracy and 1 shot kill capabilities. In Mid to close range, I'd take any LMG (Mk.48, SAW, M240) as they do massive damage coupled with high ROF, accuracy (in prone) and mag size. In buildings, a SAW can do some serious damage.

You do realize that pretty much every person above 18 in Israel serves in the IDF, right? It's the law. Also. Private server use the exact same anti-hack method official servers use - BattleEye. You're just some 13 year old troll who can't deal with the fact that every single game on the planet has hackers in it. -

The community itself may be the legit, the server is not. The DayZ forums are support for official servers, not private hives or unofficial maps. And guess what, I always play on servers with plenty of people, I just got like 5 more friends to watch my back. Though I guess you wouldn't know 'friends' are. -

You can't give someone a "reserved slot", as you're not allowed to kick players to make room for other players, or else your server will be blacklisted. You're not allowed to give any other ingame bonuses either. -
Right, because in a zombie apocalypse where people are being eaten alive, paintball guns are what people need to fight them off.

I'm actually basing it on a Marine's testimony when I was watching a show on National Geographic covering Snipers. He saw 4 people crouching behind a brick wall. He fired and saw the entire wall behind it get painted red. No one ever stood up from behind that wall again.

Like we care? That's not an official DayZ servers, you can get all the hackers on the planet and no one here would raise an eyelid.
