    Delete the "Beta" Folder, put back the original ArmA2OA.exe and download the correct patch version. I suggest running Six Launcher, it will automatically update your beta patch to the stable version.

    Yeah. Last night me and my friend were in the Barracks when we spotted someone (it was midnight). We fired at him and he disappeared. I walked around for a bit when I saw movement. I fired 2 rounds and nearly killed my own friend. Good thing ArmA doesn't have bullet penetration, my friend was saved by a wooden fence.

    You probably logged out when a player / zombie hit you (AKA exploited the Quit-to-avoid-death). You were in shock. When you log out while in shock, you will remain unconscious for 5 minutes when logging back in.

    Though do make note that nothing stops a stranger from taking your blood bag and running away.. Or just shooting you and then taking it.

    The player with the blood bag aims at the player that needs the transfusion, scrolls his mouse and clicks "Give Blood Transfusion". Blood bag disappears and you're refilled with blood.

    Odd. Either it's a BattleEye problem (which you can try fixing by updating your BattleEye) or you're getting kicked by admins.

    It makes you paranoid? My hands can't stop shaking whenever I engage someone in close combat. That's why I snipe.

    Here's a very simple rule when storing / changing weapons: ALWAYS make sure you have at least 10 free slots in your backpack, or the weapon WILL disappear. When switching weapons from your backpack to your main weapon area, ALWAYS switch the one in the backpack into your inventory, and not the other way around.

    5 minutes without any players nearby. Also, the fact you didn't hear a gunshot doesn't mean it wasn't a sniper. Both in ArmA and IRL, (sniper and some other weapons') bullets travel faster than sound. You die before you even hear the gunshot. But if it was the bug as previously stated, then it could also be a possibility.

    M1911 / Revolver are great against zeds and players. Don't worry about the ammo, you can convert both Revolver & M1911 ammo. Revolver is more accurate, though has 1 less bullet per clip. Though, since I'm a sniper, I don't want to get stuck with a Semi Auto pistol if someone sneaks up on me, so I use a PDW.

    Well, just from you saying that the Singleplayer works makes me think you did something wrong. After installing DayZ properly, adding the Launch Options line to Steam and installing the Beta Patch, Singleplayer stops working.

    I served in the army for a bit, so yeah, I've shot a rifle (Though it was a short M16A1 CQC in my case).

    Try increasing the resolutions, then. Try 1440x900. Maybe the small resolution makes it overlap.

    That's a home PC. They won't let you host.

    Sure. As far as I remember, only the Steam version doesn't need to be installed into the same folder. Retail / Mixed should be.
