If not and you've installed the game, run as Admin and right click both ArmA games , Properties, go to one of the last tabs and "Validate Cache Files" Install ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA Run ArmA 2 first, get to the menu, quit. Run Six Updater, update DayZ and let it update your Beta patch. Go to the ArmA 2 OA folder in the steam directory, go to Expansions/Beta and copy the ArmA2OA.exe from there and overwrite the original one 2 folders back (make a backup). Go to Steam, right click ArmA 2 OA, Properties, Set Launch Options, paste this: -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@dayz -world=Chernarus (The -world part isn't mandatory, but will make loading times for DayZ shorter). Play DayZ.

The Bulldozer design is a complete and utter failure, it's outperformed by even the i5 series. 560Ti is fine, can run on high, maybe very high, depending on resolution. Also, doesn't say how much RAM it has. I'd suggest at least 4 GB, as RAM comes cheap these days.

It's basically HDR, I'd say. That's why I hate Dusk / Dawn. Looking towards the sundown / sunrise, would make everything dark and hard to see, even if I can't actually see the sun. ArmA 2 fails at simulating HDR, as both IRL and in Photography, HDR means that you can see everything at the same brightness level (e.g the skies look blue while the grass looks green, without any of them being dark or bright).

Lol. Someone's making demands here, eh? If you're not happy, no one will cry if you just uninstall ArmA. And a Coyote Backpack has 24 slots. Each weapon takes 10 slots, that means you have a max space of 3 main weapons (2 in the backpack and one on yourself), that leaves you with 4 slots of ammo in your backpack. Ontop of that, you said you have 2 Morphine in your backpack and 1 on you, that means that leaves your backpack with space left for 2 magazines. 2 Mags isn't something anyone would walk around with, that means that leaves you with little to no room for "shitload of supplies" on your body (Not to mention that the SAW mags use up 2 slots). I rest my case. Also, Rocket didn't build ArmA 2. ArmA 2 is responsible for most of the bugs. Go cry to Bohemia.

Your exact quote wasn't "The bug killed me instantly after my legs broke" at the OP. And I did state afterwards that if you WERE killed instantly by the bug, then yeah, it's an Alpha mod and it's full of bugs. So what? Crying about it won't bring your loot back.

Maybe you should have had some Morphine with all that precious loot. I personally have 3 Morphine on me and my friend has 4 more.

As the above posts say. When you relog, all the loot around you despawns. About the bag disappearing, my friend had a similar bug. Killed a player and tried taking his Coyote Backpack, a few minutes after he did, he lost connection and the bag was gone.
