Because playing makes it fair. You can die as you play to get loot, you're taking risks, you're playing the actual game. It's not fair nor balanced if a person who just started playing DayZ for the first time could fork over $10 and get FN FAL's, NVG's and whatnot. This is a mod. This isn't Blizzard or a Micro-payment based MMORPG.

3D = if you can activate 3rd person view. CH = Crosshairs 2. Don't think there's a way to know inb4 logging in. 3. The point is that tents can store a ton more loot than your body. Tents last for as long as you're alive, and for 7 days after you die. Once they're gone, the stuff are gone, too.

I logged into a server that was in 4 AM, sun was already starting to rise and it was pretty bright. -

Official servers share the characters via this thing called "Hive". Every official server has "@hive" listed under the Expansion section. If it does not have @hive, it probably uses a local stats system, which means characters are not shared through servers, but rather saved on that specific server. -
There's nothing in the DayZ server rules that won't let server admins ban hackers. We just don't want cases like people like Jiggaman that banned everyone online to get 1 hacker.

Play on non-hive servers. Other than that, no. -
There is no such thing as a hacker proof game. The only thing you can do, is investigate said hackers ASAP, but no devs / server owners seem to care. As soon as a hacker gets a global ban for his $40 game, he'll think twice before trying it again.

This is DayZ for the love of god. This is not CoD, this is not BF3, Blacklight or anything like that. DayZ is not some modern FPS, it's a SURVIVAL game. You start with nothing, as you generally would in real life, and you take whatever you want and need in order to survive. This has been suggested a million times and every time the majority of players did not want this.

There is no legit M107 TWS in DayZ. It's a hacked weapon and having / using it may get you banned.

20 min and you gave up? Pff. I had to run for 45 min and I used up all my food and drinks by the time I found the edge of the map (though every server I was on kept restarting so I was getting my position reset every time). -
Server: DE24 Time: About 8 PM GMT +2 Hacks: Spawned buildings in the middle of nowhere. His body was bugged but his loot showed a weapon that doesn't exist in DayZ (PDW SD). Chernarus is an ArmA 2 map, not an ArmA2 OA map. You need several files from Arma 2.

In a real zombie apocalypse, no one would care if you "own" a house or not, they would raid it. DayZ is a Zombie Survival game, not a SAMP Roleplay server.

It worked fine for me whenever I sniped inb4 I got my Rangefinder. Don't forget you have to take elevation into account, too (the higher you are above your target, the lower your bullet drop is, and vise versa).
