In my entire DayZ days, I have only stepped foot in Cherno once, and that was on a suicide run with 4 friends and SAW's.If I'd be interested in killing some sniper camping in the forest, I'd come from the North and spot you with the L85 long before you even see me. I have NVG's aswell.

That's the general way with most snipers. However, as I posted above, it doesn't work on the AS50, as its scope is bugged. He'll have to switch a sniper rifle in order to use mildots or find a rangerfinder.

The tone and how you write your replies make it look as if you have some serious, deep issue. Either you're a troll, which would support the fact that your replies make you sound like a 10 year old arguing over who has the better sandcastle.. Or you're genuinely .. well.. I'm probably not allowed to make direct insults so [insert insult regarding mental defection here].

The AS50 scope is bugged. You can't properly estimate the range with its mildots.

Just remember that you're going to have a bad time at first. You will die, a lot. You'll get lost, you'll lose weapons and items to bugs, you'll be teleported and killed by hackers. The beginning is always hard. -
FRAPS is a resource hog, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a very capable PC.

Hard to tell. Just make sure to run like hell when you spawn if you want to avoid snipers. -

There is no such thing as a friendly server in DayZ. Whenever you move servers, your equipment and locations move with you. They all sync and save to the hive. And actually, finding players is 5 times easier the lower your graphics are set to. Camps (AKA Tents) and vehicles are server-specific, they don't move. -
Agree, whenever me and my friends find a good vehicle, we stop searching for any more. You only need enough seats to fit all your friends, you don't need to be a douche and keep everyone else from using cars.

They're already trying to implement this, but the ArmA 2 engine is preventing them.
