I'm not great at super long range shooting... I tend to find my target with my L85 then stealth around then until I'm within 400-500m. ~Sol

I've been searching for enemy camps all day.... I can't wait to find some and ransack that shit. I'm going to crash all the cars into a pile and throw a bunch of frag grenades on them. I'll steal the best one of course... I'll empty all the tent contents onto the ground as well and hope the server restarts before any of them log back on. I got to 114 murders before someone finally got me the other day... I still had a few mags left too dammit. D: ~Sol

The number of people that can't read astounds me... Yes there is a way to see someones name in the game, I just can't remember what button it is... it's something like " ; " while you aim at them. A menu comes up then you click on some other button... yeah I'm sure that's super helpful. ~Sol

OP noticed some of the key elements that distinguish our cultural "fail safes" for movie vs. game design... and noticed that DayZ uses key elements from a movie, not a game. Why do you care anyway? ~Sol

I've found dead bodies like this too, right on the beach when I spawned... loaded with gear and stuff and dead for no apparent reason. Get it while it's good, and get the fuck out... otherwise the sniper that took them out might be dialing you in next. I'm up to 62 murders so far since I changed my play style... ~Sol

Try being nicer and stop calling people names, and telling them what they think... and maybe we won't hate you. @OP Rocket has already said that DayZ was inspired by movies, and how he modeled the gameplay more like a movie rather than existing game delivery techniques. ~Sol

In the game's current state, none of the above. - Give us the ability to host our own private servers (like Minecraft) - Fix the hacker problem (I know you're working on that) - Give us something to do rather than play deathmatch in Cherno, because surviving is ridiculously easy Meeting the above criteria, I'd like to just buy the game. These in game purchases are a wrought and the people that use them are preying on human nature to gamble. Don't be a cunt, and just sell us the game for like $20 or something like that, and we will buy it and like it. Also, having a strong community development/modding ability would be super. If you go with a modding SDK of sorts, we could have all kinds of crazy shit you'd probably not have thought of and/or had time to add anyway. ~Sol

Your poll is too broad in terms of what "too hard" etc means. I think zombies are easy to kill, but their movement is fucked, and they spawn way too fast and too close to the players. The amount of ammo it takes to kill one is fine, and the number of zombies is also fine. It could even be increased if they stopped running at MKVII. ~Sol

I don't think it will ever get boring, until they add more stuff to do in the game other than "find gun, kill everyone". If I had some means of protecting my gear, vehicles, and such... like I don't know say, a lock and key... then really there's no point in collecting anything more than you need to shoot the fuck out of the server. Pity it reduced to this so quickly, I was enjoying myself doing other fun stuff for a while... the general sourness of the community has pretty much forced me to play this way though, since there's no use in trying to play "properly" when everyone else is doing this incredibly fun stuff. ~Sol

That's weird as hell because what you said, and what I wrote are not the same. Nowhere was I whining or complaining about anything. I was stating how I had discovered the correct way to play the game, and was sharing it with everyone. You're worse than my wife putting words in my mouth and saying I mean something else by what I said. It's not my fault you're such a pessimist and obviously think the worst of everyone/everything. I'm the troll here if anyone, not them... but cheers for the tip. I have been moving around but I think there are a some guys looking for me. I'm going to try and sneak around to the opposite side of town... it's dark and I think most of these guys are total noobies. I'm sure the server pros are looking for me as we speak. I'm sorry you feel that way, and at the same time am amazed at how you came to the conclusion that a bad experience in DayZ caused my change in thinking. Please, tell me more about me.
