I agree...if the reason for wiping is getting rid of duped and hacked items a wipe is no solution. They will just be hacked back in tomorrow and spread throughout the game again in a matter of days/weeks. Until the hacking/exploits are fixed there is no reason to do a wipe IMO.

I'm having the same issue. Nobody including myself can get past the loading screen to spawn. Everyone can hit the lobby but as soon as they start loading they get BE not responding and they get kicked. Or they just sit on the loading screen infinitely. Started yesterday when I updated to 1.7.2.5. I have tried all the fixes listed in forums as well as the BE site. Replaced the .dll's, uninstalled and re-installed BE. Ect..

Thanks guys I just setup my server today and was pulling my hair out because I thought it was something on my end. Reverted to 95417 and will see if that helps.

Well I got it working. Just did a full rebuild. Had to change the connecting lookup server as you suggested for sure as it wasn't correct from the default config. Now I am having stability issues though....server is crashing every 20 minutes or so.

I still don't understand how people are able to join the server though....this is very odd.

Thanks for confirming I'm not insane. :) I already re-installed the server once.... I filed a support ticket with Dayz this morning...so we will see how that goes. Let me know if you find anything else out. Are you on the same OS?

I'm a server admin by trade and I'm having some trouble getting mine up and running. I got everything configured and then closed the server to set up that razor script. Now my server doesn't show up in the list and when I try and check the ports it shows as closed. Also a netstat shows that no socket is open for dayz even thought the DS is running and configured. Any help would be appreciated. Running Server 2012 on a dedicated server. Oh and also I had been keeping an eye on the server and some people were able to connect to the server throughout the day somehow....

No. I've done that already, All that does is keep the DayZ scripts in memory, not the files that are loaded when the game starts, and when you join a server and load in your character.

I'm trying to get the entirety of the DayZ game files into Ramdisk as this game is extremely IO intensive. What directories does Dayz use in the standard Arma 2 folder? I'm ok with loading the entire OA folder into Ramdisk but I don't have enough memory to load both Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA folders (~17GB).

Well if you werent so retarded you would have taken the time to install it manually like the rest of us. Agreed. I don't understand how people would use a program to install another program. Makes no sense. So much better to install manually. Don't be so elitist, what do you think .msi's and .exe's install with? Windows Installer which is in fact an application that installs stuff for you...six launcher works exactly the same way, only it fetches the content for you automatically and also installs it, same with Steam.
