I will not vote yet. I do believe there should be a delay on character models and their items, but with the current glitches I've been experiencing, ALT+F4 is almost necessary. I have never DC'ed because of a player shooting at/killing me. However, I have DCed multiple times b/c of texture glitches getting me lost, randomly warping to an area and falling to my death, glitching off the side of buildings, breaking legs randomly and getting 1-hit by zeds through walls.

My friend and I have been having the same issue. Last night only he had the issue, so we tried to pinpoint what model was causing the issues and it seemed to be the downed HUMV type trucks that are halfway sticking in the ground. -
I think it's fine the way it is. Also, I loved the HL2 analogy :) I say add the ability to mod weapons. Not sure how this could be realistically utilized, but I'm sure there are some weapon specialists who could help out in that department.

I found a player through another forum who was just starting off. I spent 3 hours teaching him the basics. I left to go to a show so my other buddy continued playing with him. I get a text 2 hours later, the new kid broke his leg, got pissed and tried to shoot my friend... so naturally he unloaded a m4a3 in his face. Did my deed and got a laugh, win-win!

Been playing for 2+ months and I've never once felt like I was a victim of hacking. Yea, I've been sniped w/ no gunshot sound, but I was also the dumbass running across NWA or through Stary w/o scoping it out. However, I have glitch died (just died randomly, broke legs from walking, randomly warping off of the tops of buildings, being 1-hit by zeds through walls, etc.) countless times. I will not DC if I get killed, but I will if I get glitched goddamnit.

My favorite is the northwest end of Elektro, I often respawn until I'm close to this area. I seem to find the best starting gear there just walking through all of the buildings. Cherno I've gotten lucky with too, as well as Balota. I try not to kill anyone on the coast. It's usually unproductive because I rarely get anything worth it and it alerts other players/zeds.
