Per-user custom loadouts do not work on DayZLand.eu Taviana, Oring or Namalsk. There may be others, basically anything that doesnt have wrecks/care packages/kill messages as options in the control panel also do not support custom loadouts or buildings/etc. When a new map comes out we have started releasing it with static server files (no addons available) because bliss is no longer supported, then when we have some free time we work on adding in the extra features. We are by no means experts at mod development and we aren't really staffed to keep things up to date, but we do what we can. If you are an expert (or know one) you can always try adding in the features yourself using the 'advanced options' in the control panel.

I *think* this should be fixed now. Celle is currently broken, we are working on it. I fixed the problem with Celle, had to disable all the bliss optional packages for it (buildings, kill messages, care pkgs, etc.) - the keys still need to be deployed to most servers. Also FTP access on some servers isn't working. Both of these problems will be fixed in about 3 hours.

Massive update just finished, here's everything we did: Updated ArmA2 Beta to 101747 Updated Namalsk to 0.74 Updated Celle to 1.7.5.1 Updated Taviana (dayzland.eu) to 1.5.1 Added map Oring (currently 1.0.7) Added map Utes (currently 1.2) Moved database and website to a much more powerful server, you may need to wait for DNS to propagate, if you can't wait you can go to the new site at http://us.dayz.st in the mean time. The EU pop for the website/databases will be worked on this coming week, which should reduce desync for players in London/Amsterdam/Singapore. Taviana and Oring do not support bliss addons (buildings, per-user custom inventories, wrecks, care pkgs, kill messages, messaging) currently. They also do not support rMod yet. Oring and Utes do not have the live map tool yet, it will be added tomorrow most likely.

Los Angeles 05 is finally up, everyone on San Jose 05 has been moved there successfully - if you were on San Jose 05 and affected by the downtime today please send an e-mail to [email protected] to receive a $5 refund. There are also some slots available in Los Angeles now (but only like 5) - the last server is being overnighted a replacement power supply and will hopefully be working the day after tomorrow so we'll have more availability in LA then. So far we've been very happy with our new Los Angeles facility and are even considering moving Seattle and Salt Lake City servers to there as well. In the future we will be better prepared for server moves, there will be no downtime at all and we can actually warn players of impending IP changes. Also to address the issue that happened earlier today - we have ordered new servers (in Washington DC and Amsterdam, so anyone that is having desync issues outside of the US should be much better off) that are significantly more powerful and have a lot more bandwidth so that they are far more resilient to DDoS attacks like the one that brought us down earlier, as well as provide redundancy in case either of those machines is down. CK is going to spend most of tomorrow migrating the sites and databases (while I work on the overdue map updates).

We actually ordered significantly more powerful servers to run the website and database yesterday (one in WDC and one in Amsterdam, with automatic failover), we were going to transition to them silently over the next couple days but I guess we have to make that a priority now. These new servers will take a lot more resources to bring down with a DDoS attack. Nobody had ever attacked the website and database before today.

The official hive is deprecated, you won't find any support for it.
-
Yes, it is. Bliss is an abandoned project, we have to spend hours looking for changes and testing them anytime there is an update, then test all of the optional packages to make sure they work, and then we have to deploy it on over a hundred servers which takes another half a day. If it were trivial it would be done faster.
-
My insight was to use another host - their servers are misconfigured and outdated. It sounds like the most likely problem is that they did not update the mission file for 1.7.5.1 using the generator (assuming this is an official hive server - if it is not an official hive server then there are probably many many other problems)
-
Multiplay really doesn't know what they're doing when it comes to DayZ hosting - you should probably use a host that specializes in DayZ (even if it isn't us) - DayZ requires quite a bit more expertise and maintainence to host than most games, so I would steer clear of companies that host a lot of different games because their primary focus isn't going to be DayZ, and they aren't really equipped to host it.

Works fine on out servers, fwiw

Los Angeles is FINALLY up, it's been a pretty trying day of lots of things going wrong. One of the servers we sent them never arrived (lost in shipping) and another one is not booting due to a dead power supply. Also they gave away our old subnet to someone else so all the IP's got mixed up. They took 6 hours to install them rather than 1 like they quoted because they were training someone new... Then we triggered their DDoS protection while we were doing normal installs which we had to get straightened out. And the old datacenter reclaimed the San Jose servers almost almost 24 hours before they said they were going to - thankfully everything seems to be good now. Check your control panel for the new IP address. We encourage anyone who has been affected by DDoS attacks to switch to Los Angeles anytime there is availability as this datacenter has significantly better DDoS protection than any of our other locations. If you were on San Jose 01 - 04 please contact [email protected] to request a refund. We will be issuing $5 refunds to anyone affected by today's downtime.

There's been a bit of a problem in the transition to Los Angeles - the old San Jose datacenter already reclaimed our servers and the LA servers haven't been setup yet because the shipping carrier hasn't delivered the new switches to LA yet. We expect them to be in within the next 5 hours. We will be offering compensation for San Jose customers affected by this and I apologize for the inconvenience. You are using a custom mission or server PBO, which we cannot offer support for.

The only way accounts get deleted is due to a PayPal issue (chargeback, end of term, payment reversal) - you'll have to e-mail [email protected] with your details.
