  1. Updated to Namalsk 0.60 and ArmA 98443 today. Also there's 1 slot open in Salt Lake City if anyone wants it. (Scratch that, it sold already.) The new servers are supposed to be setup today. You actually can do this with the map editor, choose "Custom" after add vehicle, it will ask you for a classname. Unfortunately, though, most vehicle classes are banned in the DayZ client (nothing to do with BattlEye, which has no problems with them) so they will not appear ingame, only the ones unbanned will (which I believe all are in the list already). This is why rMod exists. The spectate mod is difficult to implement, if we used it it would break the sidechat enabler, won't let us compile our own mission files from bliss, and will probably fall out of compatibility with bliss after some time - especially since the creator has his own hive software. Kill messages (and buildings tables, care packages, custom loadout groups, wrecks, etc) should be available before the end of the week. Debug spawning is a bug in DayZ itself, which we can't fix unfortunately. If you are having problems with players logging in after death with their old gear my only suggestion is to clear your survivor, profile, and instance_deployable tables - I believe it has something to do with tents in the database belonging to that player. If you do this it will delete all of your players, gear, and their map positions though. As for the lag, Bliss v4.0 introduced a new database interface DLL called HiveExt which is somewhat slower than the previous blisshive and blissperflib for fnc_split, because of this our servers can't handle 50 players as easily as before... It's a tough position, if we lower everyone's player count to 40 there would be a lot of unhappy customers. For now I'm just hoping that HiveExt gets more optimized, it seems to be under active development.
  2. Yeah, still has to be run on your own computer for now. Also may or may not be a delay in the new servers coming up, we aren't hearing much from the datacenters.
  3. We just updated the BattlEye filters for all servers to fix a few problems: - No more kicks for opening doors on Celle - No more kicks for crashing a helicopter - No more kicks for shooting rockets/LRMS from vehicles with missile launchers (rMod) - Gotcha antihack logging is now enabled by default, if you sign up at http://gotcha-antihack.com you can run the client against our servers without any additional configuration The changes will be applied the next time your server restarts.
  4. From what we experienced the 4.0 wrong version errors are usually due to an invalid starting loadout. This may or may not work on SS, but if you go into your database under the 'instance' table and change your inventory to: [] and restart the server it will probably fix it. Alternatively if there isn't a row for your particular instance you should insert and use the defaults for inventory and backpack & change the instanceID to your instanceID.
  5. Also try clicking the "spawn" button in the control panel repeatedly to get more to spawn. There are only 60 or so spawnpoints by default, for more you should add them with the map tool.
  6. You may be able to do this through the mission or server files, I do not know - we plan to add support for custom mission and server pbo's soon but when you use one it will disable automatic updates for bliss. Sorry, it already sold :\ No Fallujah is not supported by rMod, neither is Lingor 1.0 - the old lingor 0.34 was but it has since been replaced because it is no longer compatible with bliss. Someone needs to work on a new rMod or get the developer to update it. Tomorrow afternoon Washington DC, Dallas, and Amsterdam should have free slots.
  7. Send us an e-mail saying you need gotcha enabled and include your control panel username, we'll take care of it. Lingor 1.0 isn't supported in rMod, as far as I know you can't enable it in the control panel when you have Lingor selected as a map and it is not enabled by default. Work in progress :\ Also Monday afternoon we have three new servers coming in for Amsterdam, Washington DC, and Dallas. Washington DC and Amsterdam are under unusually high server loads and these new servers will help a lot, plus there will be availability in those three locations. As of right now we are sold out of everything except London, where there is 1 slot available - I'm sure that will sell soon.
  8. Just added fallujah to the map tool: You can't remove the static buildings, no. Shouldn't really need a tutorial, when it's ready you will just right click on the map and choose spawn building and which one to spawn.
  9. We're working on adding building spawning to the map tool, but currently the only way is to manually add it to the database through phpmyadmin. Unfortunately, that slot and port is already sold - dallas is completely full. There will be a new dallas server online on Monday but I can't get your port back, sorry :\
  10. We had some database issues earlier that are fixed now, they would be causing lag and desync across all of our servers. Everything should be back to normal now - sorry about all that. Apparently another DayZ host was offline last night and we got a ton of new customers and the mysql settings we had weren't really ready for that.
  11. Contracts are month-to-month, you purchase one month at a time and it is automatically renewed until you cancel. When you cancel the server will keep running until the paid month ends - you can cancel from your paypal account or by contacting us. If you are unsatisfied you can e-mail us for a pro-rated refund (you'll receive $1 for each day remaining on the contract) We don't host whitelist pro currently (because it's too buggy), but it's a planned future feature (when it becomes more reliable). You can host gotcha antihack or whitelist pro from your home computer for now, I know it's not ideal. We want to do the whitelisting right though not have tons of problems with it, so we're waiting. Dallas servers will definitely be here Monday afternoon (EST), they would be up today but it's the weekend. You can always order at Salt Lake for now and then move to Dallas in the control panel on Monday when it becomes available. You can add custom buildings to the deployable table for now but I'm going to test bliss buildings support in an hour and see if the crashes were fixed, then you can use the buildings table instead. If you want you can send us a mission file and we can swap it out on your server, but this will often become incompatible with future bliss versions.
  12. For fallujah right now you can manually add vehicles to the database, we'll be working on the map tool tomorrow to make it work with fallujah so you can add vehicles via right click menu which should make life easier. Which specific vehicles you can spawn on Fallujah I do not know, I know some vehicle classes were unbanned by Vilayer for the map. If you've played fallujah and seen a specific vehicle on another server you can spawn it.
  13. It's been tested on IE9, Firefox and Chrome. We just fixed a problem with the right click menu on IE9 - if it still isn't working for you then send us an e-mail at [email protected]
  14. Hmmmm... no ETA but I'll consider it for the next server we buy... Can always buy in another DC and move to washington when it's available :) New map tool feature: currently online players are now larger green dots, recently online (within 1 hour) are yellow, and older players within 24 hours are small red dots.
  15. I haven't really got time right now to make a video but you have access to a google maps style map that shows the locations of all players in the last 24 hours (and hopefully by the end of today you can filter just players that are currently logged on), and you can view and edit their inventories. You can also see vehicle locations and have access to the script log files which may or may not log hacking activity. We intend to add more features later like showing vehicle and player paths and searching for players with specific items etc. but don't count on them getting done soon - there are other big featuers I'd like to get working first. There is also an automatic backup system that backs up your server every 30 minutes for 48 hours so if someone comes on and kills a bunch of players or ports all the vehicles in the ocean or something you can just roll the server back completely. Yeah we did the best we could on the map, a lot of it was guesstimating because there's no easy way to convert ingame coordinates into leaflet coordinates because leaflet is designed for using world maps so the only coordinate system we had was latitude/longitude or percentage, and we opted for percentage. It also depends on which map (chernarus, lingor, etc) you are using - some of them we got to be more accurate than others. Also each edge of the map will have different degrees of accuracy. Yeah I plan to test the features today and possibly add them today or tomorrow, every time I have gone to test them they either don't work consistently or crash the server (with 4.0), I really hope they work properly now.
  16. Yes, they do work on chernarus (I don't know about other maps). You may have to manually add extra bandages to the loadout because of the changes in the latest bliss. Try restarting your server, it should fix it. Unrelated: Fixed and re-enabled automatic database backup feature.
  17. Actually was just posting to say we added the ability to type custom classnames in the map tool: As for which classes are banned on which map, the bans are in the client files - so all versions of panthera would be the same - they are all the vilayer-signed 1.5 version I believe. Vilayer uses their own default spawns and we use the ones on bliss, so the defaults will be different. Class list: http://www.armatechsquad.com/ArmA2Class151656165165341654165165165165f/A2/vehicles/air/ (most vehicles are banned without rMod, if you add a vehicle ingame it will not show up if it is banned - don't use custom classes unless you know what you're doing)
  18. New map added: mbg_celle2 Client files are here: http://dayz.st/files/DayZCelle-1.0.zip Enable @DayZ_Celle and @mbg_celle2 to play. Test server in London: IP: 185.2.136.156:2442 Hive: DayZ.ST Shared Hive
  19. Fixed and re-added the right click menu to the map tool, now when you add a vehicle it automatically adds a spawn point for that vehicle. Only thing not back working yet is the backups which I'm going to work on tomorrow - it's been a long day :P
  20. Yep, there's an option in the control panel for changing locations. Salt Lake would probably get better pings than dallas though if you're on the west coast.
  21. messages doesn't work currently, it was broken with the new bliss update today. neither does buildings. known issues that bliss says they are working on fixing.
  22. Time zone issue is now fixed, restart your server to apply the fix. Working on map tool right-click features now.
  23. If you change the default spawns they'll stay yes, but there are a ton of new spawnpoints added now for any vehicle that wasn't at its original spawnpoint when bliss was updated. The way time zones are handled was also changed, I'm gonna look into it.
