Sorry, we took our measurements from Perth and Sydney (got 70ms and 130ms) and didn't really have a way to test from other locations in AU - will revise the OP to say from Perth. ISPs in Australia seem to vary wildly with the carriers and infrastructure used. Our tests were in datacenters that have expensive tier 1 carriers and we couldn't test from DSL or Cable providers.

This banlist export/import stuff will be handled when we have added FTP support, I've said it a few times in the past, that's why I haven't responded to any of the messages, sorry. This is likely due to a hacker injecting a script that gets run when players login and battleye bans them for it - I'm sure that one of the support reps has told you this at some point. The only thing you can do is restart the server, nobody can stop hackers.

You're probably mistaking 'admins' for regular users or community support people - they are not on our payroll and do not work for us, if they have op in the channel it is just to moderate spammers. The only 'admins' are me and cellkill. IRC isn't an official support channel, our only official channel is via e-mail (which is somewhat backed up at the moment due to some unfortunate circumstances - 3 of our support reps have been unavailable this weekend - we are hiring more now). If we post that a server is nullrouted for ddos, it is nullrouted - regardless of what your traceroute says. It's not in our best interest as a company to have offline servers for no reason. It should, yes.

Possibly, Bliss doesn't support vilayer's utes but adding support for it should be relatively trivial (though the spawn points will probably be different from the ones on Vilayer since we don't have those). -

The utes in dayzcommander is vilayer's version, which they did not release the key files for so nobody but vilayer (and HFB i think) can host it. The version ss (and anyone else) has is the bliss version of utes, they are not compatible. We do not host utes at all just to avoid the confusion that stems from this. -

DayZ 1.7.5 has some optimizations that will fix this when it comes out, in the mean time the only thing you can do is lower the max players value. -
I'm gone until Sunday guys, CK and the others have been running support while I'm gone. The new London servers should be setup late tonight (EST) Dude I'm not really sure who this is directed at but I personally haven't been on IRC in 3 days, I'm in Atlanta on business at the moment and will be going home tomorrow. We pay taxes just like any other company, if you are referring to sales tax there is no sales tax on services in the state of Florida, where we are based. It sounds like you signed up for a London server that sold out as you were signing up for it so your account was never created. In these instances we either issue a refund or setup a new account at a different datacenter, depending on what the customer desires.

Because of how sold out we are the servers are a little overloaded and there may be some lag during peak hours, once we get the new servers in it will go away. Unfortunately because of how large the order is the supplier is taking longer to install the servers. I really think they should be up by tomorrow. Both of those servers are back up and running at the moment.

If messages aren't working there really isn't anything we can do - the developer of the messaging mod hasn't updated it in ages and we hear more reports of it not working than of it working. The most reliable way to do periodic messages is by running Gotcha Antihack. We *hope* to be getting 18 new servers in today in almost every location, including London - it's hard to tell how long it will take for them to be installed but usually 24 hours, and we put the order in yesterday. We've been toying with the idea of hosting Teamspeak, Mumble, and Ventrilo and giving smaller slot counts (10 maybe) to server owners for free and charging for more, but voice hosting is a very small market and it would take a lot of worko to get it working the way we want it to. We're probably going to try it but it's lower on the priority list than new maps and features for dayz.

AMSTERDAM node 5.153.13.115 is offline due to DDoS, no ETA currently We are using a very convoluted method of dealing with namalsk missions at the moment due to lack of bliss support. Was a temporary problem with Chernarus servers that restarted in the last hour or so, it's fixed now. We are a bit behind on e-mails because of the holidays, sorry, we are trying to catch up now. There was a patch to bliss that we applied that may have fixed them, see https://github.com/ayan4m1/DayZ-Private/pull/561

We updated to dayztaviana.com v2.0 and dayzland.eu taviana v1.2.0. All servers should be up now, if you had rmod, care packages, custom inventories, kill messages, or messaging enabled then they are currently disabled and will be enabled the next time your server is restarted. Issue a manual restart now if you want them enabled.
