Ive followed a few guys....I actually was pretty positive about killing him. I would be thinking, get rid of this guy and have the ability to take his supplies and stake out at an air field without needing to worry about more supplies. I was sitting on top of a building on the west side of Komarovo, it was a bit laggy, but I was scoping out all the zeds. Just chillin by the coast thinking about life before, when I saw a guy running along the coast. He had a handgun, figured he was finding all the fresh spawned kids to kill. I got him in the sights of my AK74...watched him run like right through 4 zeds. 200 meters out I figured it wouldnt be worth it, even though he was stopped. At the closest, he was 60 meters out. Easily could have dispatched him. I love this game...

Well...my luckiest kill....snuck into the firehouse at Elektro. Managed to get inside....couldnt get out because of all the Zeds. My lunchbreak was dwindling. I had to go. Signed back in to hear flies. Looked around. Found a dead guy with a makarov and a few clips. I took what I could, which was everything he had. The guy that killed him was outside the tower looking out with a rifle....couldnt figure out how to get out to him, so I shot him through the window. Died from zeds trying to get out of the city.... oh it was my ONLY kill btw

Edit: I reinstalled the updated/launcher to 2.9.7 Re 8 or somthing and it has been running just fine for me! Thanks for the help

Pretty sure you can just cry some MOAR. I still struggle. I finally found an AK with two mags and a glock with one. First time I have EVER EVER EVER gotten two guns at once. I spent the better part of the next 10 minutes popping zombies with the first clip. Moved to the coast and tried shooting other people(you know newbs cause I need practice on people who arent shooting back). I had one guy kill me when I had just starting gear...deal with it...

uninstalled Six Updater and Launcher and downloading 2.9.7 Pre 8, see if it changes anything. I launch the OA Beta and it gives me the newest 1.61 and expansion pack and @DayZ but if I try to go through multiplayer, it doesnt allow me to play the game because the DayZ files are from trying to install it like 3 weeks ago... I have the game working on my desktop, but i need to get it to work on my laptop....wish me luck

Alright....I got the Arma2cfg and ArmaOAcfg files and I still get the no entry "profilepathdefault" on the six launcher.....

Alright....whenever I try to get into a game, it tells me "no entry '.profilePathDefault'. and loads OA but without an option to do anything and like 8 bit graphics. How do I reset the paths? And where can I find the newest DayZ mod...the only one I have is a little old and it wont let me play with it.

Can I wait at a deer stand after it has been looted and have loot respawn while I am in it? What is the best way to loot buildings when zombies are crawling all over? I have to practically zig-zag on my belly to avoid them, and I still aggro them... Better to start off playing on a low pop server to acquire gear? Or one that is practically full(hopes of finding lots of dead people)

I dont know what you guys are talking about...ive played hours and hours and the closest to fully equiped was a makarov with a few mags, an enfield with one, knife, and compass. I made it about 3 minutes only because i spawned in while some kids were looting elektro and got my only kill ever because one wasnt looking and the other had zombies chasing him....didnt make it to the forest before the other zombies got me.... I just raided like 6 deer stands and a few smaller shacks to find absolutely NOTHING :( just going to wait it out now....maybe someone will see me and feel sorry for me...

I saw a video on youtube of "soldiers clothing - ghillie" and then I found some civi clothing.... But if i can get you perma banned...there needs to be a list of weapons that are allowed...im a new user, completely. I have no idea what is in the game legimately or not...I mean not even lucky enough for a pistol and ive played for hours. But...i dont wanna get banned because I dont know any better.

Also want to point out that you can spawn out in an island or anywhere along the coast. You can not say anything about left or right because you can spawn east or west of cherno or elektro......

When you need to use a bandage, press G. G will open your gear. Right click on the bandage and you will get an option to "Heal yourself". Thats about all Ihave figured out how to do...hopefully someone else can chime in with some more information.

I love this game...I almost kept the crossbow with two bolts over the Enfield with 40 rounds...I absolutely love it. I wish you had maybe somthing slightly defendable to start with(I couldnt find anything for a long time and it was super scary, but I didnt know about melee weapons)... anywho....couldnt get on yesterday(due to DDoS attack?). I got on today and I see this dude crawling. Im not really one to shoot at someone else just purusing the area...but I wanted to be the first kid on my block with a confirmed kill.... Well...zeds crawl now. I didnt know when that changed, but they crawl all OVER the place...kinda sketchy cause its harder to tell people from zeds. But realistic and I like it....when did they START CRAWLING

I have the retail copy of Arma II and Arma II OA. I have run into so many different problems and reinstalling it only gives me another problem. Currently it lists all my .PBO files and tells me that the key I used it not recognized and to play on that server(which has been every server I have tried) and to play, I need to install additional keys or remove the files(which doesnt work). I am running 1.60.94103 and under the Arma II logo, I have "Bohemia Interactive", "Beta", "expansion", and "@dayz". I am not completely computer savvy so a dumbed down answer would help a lot more than a more educated answer. I reallly wanna play and I have been screwing with this for about 4 days now. Thanks in advance

I keep getting this error Followed by this....anyone have any ideas? I have spent hours downloading and installing the game and doing a million different things and im just not having any luck with it....

Its my sisters laptop....please help me.... i wanna play with the zombies....
