  2. NOTE: This is from a couple days ago. It may have been fixed with the recent updates, but did not see a similar report for it, hear of any fixes for it, and have not gotten a chance to test it lately. Date/Time: 27APR12 ~0200 Eastern US What happened: Clearing through a section of the airbase with a friend. He saw a zombie standing to our left that I could not see. He walked me onto the zombie on his screen, and I basically stood inside of him. About 10m away I then saw a zombie laying down. The type of zombie (police) was the same that he had seen as the other one, but he could not see this one. I walked him onto the zombie and took the screenshot below. The other issue is that at this same time, I was in the map and it was daytime. He was on the map and it was nighttime. The time's were not syncing properly. Where you were: NW Airbase What you were doing: Clearing a section. *Current installed version: Believe it was 1.4.23 *Server(s) you were on: I believe it was one of the FR servers, not positive. *Your system specs: N/A *Timeline of events before/after error: N/A
  3. Date/Time: 4/28/12 1900 Eastern US What happened: Crosshairs are 'pinging' myself. It shows "Survivor Spaceman" and such, and it causes a 'Greetings' message to appear constantly in the middle of the screen. This is new as of the latest update (1.5.1) and it is the same for everyone in our group. Also allows me to 'Talk to' myself after hitting greeting. Where you were: NW portion of map/all map What you were doing: From time of loading in until the time I disconnected. *Current installed version: 1.5.1 *Server(s) you were on: NY2 *Your system specs: N/A *Timeline of events before/after error: -Updated versions. Joined server and it was constant from beginning of play until disconnect.
  4. I believe this is just a part of ArmA. It takes a few minutes for your eyes to adjust to less light (like in real life). Try walking out your back door at night when there are no street lights/porch lights, and it takes a few minutes to adjust to 'night vision'. ArmA has this to simulate periods of dusk/dawn when our eyes change and it becomes hard to spot targets. Also makes it the optimal time to attack. Hope it helps.
  5. Not sure if this would be the place to suggest a fix after fix for things, but this particular bug hits me and I think I can understand why the ponds can't be easily filled like the ocean. I (just taking a shot in the dark) would assume the script is set for when a player is less than a certain altitude (slightly below sea level) they get the option to fill. Ponds being above that need them to be in a swimming animation... Given the fairly limited number of ponds in the map, could a 55-gallon drum or well be placed by each pond on the map, and players can just go to that to fill their canteens? This would prevent people from risking losing all their items every time they need a fill up. Not like you would really need to go for a swim just to fill a canteen in a pond, irl... Just a thought :)
  6. Date/Time: 25APR12 / 2300 Eastern US What happened: Killed a player and turned Bandit. The gear in the backpack then disappeared. Had everything from extra water to a spare gun disappear. Also happened to the person I was with. Where you were: East Coast What you were doing: Hunting...
