Just putting some feelers out there, I have my own private shard server, and I'm just looking to see how people feel about night time servers? Personally, I quite enjoy the challenge, and the thrill of hunting at night! Currently my server runs from 4pm into 8pm, so you kinda get a bit of both! But please give us your opinions! Happy Zombie Slaying! :)

Does anyone know where the spawn points for the meat clevers are? Still haven't seen one! Also, anyone else now unable to skin animals and bodies? Cheers guys!

TerminuS Welcome to Terminus! We are a few friends, who have now set up our own private shard, 50 player UK server. We aim to be active, and helpful admins - regularly checking our e-mail and responding to players and helping them out where we can. Our view, is to create a community of players, and with time, open up forums for our players, so people can arrange trades, games, and events, forming groups and making new friends along the way! As for now, we have no whitelist up, but we will aim to do this early next year, hopefully when we've built up a few regular players! Why Terminus? I totally agree with this. Of course, flash lights are useful at night, but when it comes to night servers; No one likes them.There's no benefit to using a night server, other than 'Looting In Safety'People don't use torches because they just give you awayBrightness and gamma just get turned upI reckon it'd be fantastic to have us spawn with some random low tier items, although, spawning with a walkie-talkie would also be great. Could be quite fun to actually see them brought into play, especially for new spawns trying to find out where they are - could make for some interesting PVP moments if Bandits over hear meet up conversations!

Hey guys. So I got sick randomly, used antibiotics to cure it first time. I then started trying to acheive the healthy status, so I cleaned my wounds, but whenever I clean them, I get sick again :/ Now I'm sick, and have no antibiotics left. Charcole tablets make it go to red, so it's chemical sickness for sure. But yeah, help? What do I do? Need to get to healthy to get my blood back, haha. Cheers

I heard if you keep eating charcole tablets, you can throw up, and then drink to remove sickness? I'm all out of antibiotics, and have cleaned my wounds, so I guess drink water and eat fruit now?

Hi guys, didn't know where to ask - but I'm looking for any small DayZ clans out there. Kinda tired of trying to solo survive, as I managed to fully repair a tractor, and find a bike aswell - returned today to find them gone, although my two tents are pretty much untouched - unfortunately my tractor was an over-flow storage device, containing some medical supplies. I'm more of a PvE guy, prefer the aspect of killing zombies and stuff, but that doesn't mean I don't PvP (I take killing other players as part of survival, however if a survivor passes me buy without noticing me, there's no need to really drop them unless they are armed perhaps, so odds are I'll let them go) - obviously I must be forgiven for being a little cautious when meeting clan mates because you never know. I'm fairly experienced in the game, been an ArmA player since the Operation Flashpoint days. I currently have a fair few supplies, weapons, food, etc - also gear to repair vehicles. My supplies have now filled two tents and I am currently stocking a third. I live in the United Kingdom, I'm 22, mic'd, available most weeknights and on Sundays. Cheers guyss, - Shadow.

Mine has just started doing this too. One day it was fine, came home and went to play again, FpS is suddenly so low it's unplayable :/

I changed servers after I took a break from DayZ, then I ended up having to make a new character :/ I assumed it was an error somewhere or whatever, so I just started playing the new one. Took another break, and then I had my old character back :/ So I disconnected and reconnected to a few servers etc, seems randomly to select one? Any ideas? Thanks

First of all. DayZ is a mod, in Alpha. Tweaks and changes in their hundreds will come before it comes out of alpha, let alone it's highly anticipated release. Secondly, the survival aspect gets higher the more you play, I was like you when I started - I ran around, didn't care. It's when I found a map, and a few other rare items, that the survival really kicked in - the whole, "Shit, if I die, I'm gonna lose this gear" and never get it back. DayZ also depends highly on the attitude you bring to it (or so I firmly believe), if you for example, don't care, and just run around and then use the glitch to escape Zombies, then this isn't for you. Perhaps Left For Dead? The facts you state here also seem to fall into some specific categories. "Butthurt" because you've been killed (Hackers do not count, it's not hard to find a server with BE enabled, and play in the safety of a non hacking world), and also "I don't like this game" - that;s not really enough evidence to call it crap. When you have something to eat and drink, yeah, life gets easier, it's when you delve further into the world, things get harder - the statements you make denote to me you really haven't given it enough time, nor, are you willing to sit down and give it a proper play through. You also fail to specify where you believe changes should be made, this makes this post pretty much pointless when you're posting it in a community who want to help, and develop the game - there's a fair few things I don't like but there's no point in swanning around saying the game is crap - is there a point? No, it's a waste of time - a few people may agree with me, but that doesn't benefit anyone. The "Idiots" that kill you, you forget, are trying to survive - I can agree partially here with you. It's a little annoying, as for a lone survivor it's impossible to find team mates. I've killed people before, why? Survival. That person may have ammo, food, water, maps, useful supplies. It's him or me. Dog eat dog. I didn't write this post to change your mind, you think the game is crap, you think it's crap - end of the matter, hence, you don't really need to make an un-constructive post such as this, you need to just uninstall the mod, and carry on playing the games you enjoy. This community are players, and fans, that want to see DayZ grow, develop, and aid however possible to make it perfect - people like you, so negative with only one view, damage this. As I say, I respect your opinion - but I don't rate the way you've delivered it.

After weeks I've only just finally figured this out. I tried everything to stop my Kicked: BattlEye stopped responding. Are Sky going to fix this?

Hey again guys. So I've had to go back and try and fix BattlEye again. The error is the "Not Responding" kick. I keep thinking I've got it, because I get all the messages, "Server requires BattlEye version 1.182 Up To Date" and the Computed GUID one (Can't remember exactly what they both say haha), in the lobby. But then I get stuck at the loading screen. I somehow, luck of the draw I guess, got passed the loading screen just now - but then BattlEye stopped responding again! I'm so desperate now, here's a list of what I have done so far; Manually updating BattlEye Turning off Firewalls (Ensuring BattlEye and ARMA2 are both exceptions anyway) Re-installs (Countless) of BattlEye Checking my router firmware is up-to-date. Making sure uTorrent and anything related/similar is force closed Giving DayZ Commander 10 minutes to find servers (waiting after it's done just to be sure) Re-install of ArmA2, DayZ, DayZ commander, Six Launcher, Six Updater Creating different profiles. Updating ArmA etc. Safe to say I won't be playing DayZ ever again? Thing is it worked before on this very PC, then I stopped playing for a few weeks - came back and this started, must have been an update somewhere that caused it? I really don't know. But then even if it does seem to work, like I say, I get stuck at the final loading screen. Usually you can tell if it isn't stuck because you can hear sound from the game sometimes. If there's anything not on the list of things I have tried, please let me know. I am running on WIndows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. I have AVG Anti-virus, and obviously Windows Firewall. My router is a Sagemcom, and the firmware is up to date (and no model number on the router), I am with Sky Broadband. No other games present me any problems connecting to servers. I am not using Steam. I am also running everything to do with DayZ as Admin. I currently follow this routine to launch the game. Ensure uTorrent is force closed. Turn off Anti Virus Copy most recent BEClient and BEServer.dlls to the right directories. Run DayZ Commander as Admin Wait ten minutes Choose a server and connect Usually this gets me the three messages in the lobby regarding BattlEye, if it doesn't I can usually get it going by staying in the in-game server browser, then copying the ,dll files again, and choosing a new server from the in-game browser. Can sometimes take a few attempts but usually I get there. Currently running ArmA2 98220 and DayZ 1.7.2.6. Thanks again for reading, this is pretty much all the information I can really provide :/

Hey, I just did some serious digging on the internet. Really sorry for wasting time, but it is indeed my router, infact, appears a lot of other Sky Broadband users are having issues, Sky seem partially aware of the issue - but because of the limited controls provided, I have to ASK THEM to roll it back (Fucking joke?). So this thread can be sent away to die now, but perhaps some sort of sticky to point this out to people? System Details Manufacturer Sagemcom Model Number F@ST2504n Firmware Version 6.14.1a4N_UNI ADSL Firmware Version A2pD035g.d23j1 Most people affected by BattlEye issues, will know what this means.

I don't know much about ports, but does BattlEye require one open? My router may be a problem here. If it does how do I open it?
