ive set min at the lowest possible, the only way to see if a server is running optimum terrain detail... otherwise you are taking cover, when not really taking cover... -

Stamina is one factor, that isn't much of a factor in this game. Would be nice if you could or more correctly couldn't run forever... Would make people walk more and not just sprint to every destination, but actually make you explore the sorundings more too. It would even give people a reason to find and repair a vehicle. Would also like to have thirst and hunger systen to be more bound to how you move, if you sprint all the time hunger and thirst would obviously drain a lot faster, and vice versa... Which brings me to the zombies. You could slow them down drastically if a system like this would be implemented. And there for improve on the whole survival horror theme.

So what you are saying, is that you want things to be easy, have zombies as pets? Zombies speed would obviously be changed to adjust to the fatigue, but if you're out in the open with 20 zombies, then life should be on the line...

Gets my vote. If they are so hard to find, then why does everyone have them as a backup in their backpack...

You could always lay down and observ the player, but if he's a bandit he probably dc before anything.. -
I play really safe, but then I get an urge to moe down some zombies with my riffle, which most of the time gives me a bullet to the head... So don't shoot any zombies in a game about zombies. . ;-)

Which brings me to another thing, what is the hurry? Why do people need to get from one point to the other as fast as possible? This is kinda the thing I want to get away from with all of this. And make it so that any place on the map should and could be an adventure.

What could be done is for the white dots on your corners to turn red showing bandits... It's a feature of arma... :-D

Vehicles wasn't really the purpose of this thread, but making the game more about survival. Not just running from one place to the other....

got tired of killing zombies with my hatchet, shot off a couple of rounds with my m249 out in the middle of nowhere 1 min later after looting a deer stand i hear 3 shots from a m107... that is pretty much my dayz experience at the moment... and the server only had 10 players, which makes it even more sad... lol -
