I love playing a charcter for a week to have it then killed by somone using a nuke or just warping to my location and killing me...

has happened a couple of times when i was just going to rebind a button, lost pretty much everything... :)

you where both playing on a server with the wrong version of dayz...

people log on to servers with wrong version of dayz to ghost, and loot stuff... wont go into it more, as it is a really nasty glitch...

learn from mistakes? you mean using your weapons, because that is all it takes... Shoot one bullet and you can be sure to have a bandit hunting your ass... that is not survival instincts, just deathmatch... People seem to not understand this, wich is what will kill the game for most people... I have high hope of this game being something different, but its turning out to be yet another shooter...

crossbows would be fine, if you didnt have to spend a 1-2 min finding the bolts again, make it show up in the gear...

I would actually want the game to start with only a compass, not even a backpack...

yup, they should make it so that if you dont have the right version you get kicked or better yet, you shouldnt even be able to log on to the server.

its all about not wanting to lose gear, so a fix would be to lose gear if you actually kill someone...

most streamers i see on jtv, glitch like crazy, spawn weapons that arent even in the game etc.

yeah this needs to change right now, this game isnt about pvp.

Are you saying people shouldnt help each others out? Ive yet to kill a player, and ive had a lot of chances to do so. Id say that 9 times out of 10 that I see another player, then that person starts shooting like I was the evil stepmother...
