Hopefully the connection will improve, but for now it is to be dealt with first-hand. This forum is not going anyway, so patience.

It could be a strange glitch on the server's part, but it may be some random player scaring the crap out of himself as he shoots you. Your character spawns standing just before you get up, and it has happened to a few of my friends. I recommend sticking to private hives and staying on that one server. Makes your life alot easier and makes you a bit more known on the server, which is always a bonus.

I found it quite interesting, but the Stalker element seems to be rolling the ball a little too much, don't you think? Bloodsuckers are challenging enemies in several cases, and by far the most fearful since once you hear it's trademark dinosaur roar, it's time to haul ass. However, it seems that frequency of these enemies have become a major issue, as it sounds like they are just as common as regular zeds (though I have only came across one in my 3 hour travel through Namalsk). The weapon sweps are amazing, and through countless searching, I have finally debunked the Makarov SD! I have mixed emotions about the EVR. It is something to keep in mind, but unlike Stalker, it appears to be the highest disadvantage to this map, as no matter what, you will ultimately be met with your character falling to the ground, so you have obligated to carry a few bloodbags to survive. I wouldn't suggest removal, but some tweaking would do. Gotta add a Stalker quote now, and one that many might agree with... "Get out of here, Stalker."

Seems like Namalsk just became the most unforgiving child of DayZ. I gotta check this out once I come out of school.

I caught a ride in one with a few guys on Balota Buddies, which eventually turned into a Search & Destroy mission after we found a UAZ riding around. They never stood a chance...

I think balota buddies need one more reference... done. There are several servers with active admins that I have played on, you just need to find them, and they are sometimes white-listed. The process isn't that difficult, just don't act like a dick and you will be fine...
