I'm quite sure that each body part can represent a vital point. Since legs can be broken in DayZ, it would seem logical that a shot to the leg would instantly incapacitate the player. It's clear headshot's result in instant kill, and body shot's prove to be default damage.

Well now that I know what happened a bit more at the previous Meet up... I would be more than happy to volunteer in even more, since everything that happened was clearly planned out.

Was just walking around, playing with the bro. He had to do something, so he went prone and I waited. While I was waiting, I noticed a player going down the hill we went up. I assumed he didn't notice us, as he just kept on going. I had thought he was a bandit, as the back of his head had a scarf look to it. So I took aim with the FN FAL and fired. He dropped dead, I see on the bottom left corner 'EYEZ was killed'. My friend comes back, and I tell him about the kill. He comes to take a closer look when he tells me the news... I killed a hero. All this is meant to do is to probably reach out to EYEZ and just apologize for the kill, as I was paranoid and was worried of getitng spotted, as we had to take down a couple of zombies previously,

The only 'mystical' essence about green mountain is the radio transmission when you go there. Other than that, it is a practically desolate, unappealing place to go. I only went to green mountain once, and I am not going to restart the game each time I go there.

This is something every one of us has dealt with in DayZ. We come across times where the mercy of a survivor is at your trigger. You choose three things, Aim and fire, walk away, or approach with caution. We usually choose the former, and some of us stick with the guilt of taking the life. I naturally perform the casual approach, though never letting my guard down. While this topic may seem very personal, I would like to ask, what was your best and worst scenario in coming across a survivor?

Both under the category of 'Battle Rifles' their semi-automatic characteristics and clip size allows them to be efficient in killing players and zombies.The M14, in my opinion, is best used in mid-range combat, and maybe even in close quarters in case you get surprised. The DMR and it's optical scope is best used for long distance engagement. For zombies, it is best for the M14 Aimpoint, as a single shot can dispatch a zombie. However, both are loud, even if the M14 is a bit quieter, so I just recommend both for other players. Same clip size, one can be used for close quarters and other can be used for long distance.

Sale? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. If by 'sale' you mean extreme findings of AS50's at bandit camps, then I guess that would be a sale. Most likely, they were hacked, and found by other players, and they decided to have a deathmatch in your server.

All I gotta say is... I feel shame to those who thought it would be the best of idea's to put their base right in the middle of the fucking airfield.

Wait... 65 minutes? WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT!? But anyway, it's great to know that everyone is learning from their mistakes, putting it into practice, and developing to better tactics. It just put's a tear in my eye... :)

To be perfectly blunt, it's best to keep most findings to yourself...

The only thing you will want to do at Green Mountain is to get a radio and listen to that transmission. Green Mountain is not a good place to set up base, since the zombie spawn up there will be a nuisance, along with the risk of players who delve to the rumors.

I agree that the game has been far more difficult to actually 'play'. With all the fiasco involving the Six Launcher, I have resorted to the use of DayZ Commander (A mighty fine launcher for DayZ). The game itself also is plagued by insistent hackers, though I have never come across one so far. However, it never loses it's charm, and each play through is unique, allowing for all previous flaws to seem worth the pain.

I have never once had the thought of combat logging. It is a cheap and unsportsmanlike way of preventing death. This includes server hopping. If I had a gun to my head while being robbed, I am glad to to welcome the bullet to the head. If I am getting shot at by someone from a distance, I am going to fight back. If, by any negative possibility, I cross paths with a player, I am going to negotiate. Preforming such acts are unfair and childish.

If i'm correct, he might have said "Fuck you" in the process of us shooting him. Honestly, we really weren't thinking, so we ended up with... 1. A dead guy. 2. A bad feeling 3. A kick out.

I don't enjoy hacking, I do not indulge hackers, nor do I endorse it. However, If I do get an AS50, I am simply going to say thanks, and be on my way. Who will not do that?

Me and a bro were at the North-West airfeild. We loot to our greatest extent and just continue going north, suddenly... A WILD BANDIT CAMP APPEARS. Almost all the tents at AS50's, plenty of glock rounds, blood bags, etc. We nearly fainted by the established luck. Ghillie suits galore. We then go back to the northwestern airfield and decide to see if we find some guy riding a bike through. We shot him, it was a dick move yeah, but he attracted almost every single zombie to us. That horde was not an easy task... So we continue on and before we know it, we are both dead on the field. He got pissed, I laughed my ass off. I felt like having a fresh start.

That might be for the best.
