Download DayZ Commander (personal recommendation). 3. Install DayZ from the installs tab of DayZ Commander (remember to direct the correct folder!) 4. Run Arma II and operation arrowhead once that is finished (also get the correct beta patch). 5. Look for servers that has a cloud with an X inside of it next to the name of the server. (This signify's a private server) 6. Enjoy the damn game. Yep... ...or you can also just look how to get it online...

After an excessive amount of practice within the works of aviation in DayZ (Helicopters, planes, and my beloved VTOL), I have come to the conclusion of major resort with my travels. Suicide bombing... You may be thinking "...this man is a dick." That may or may not be true. However, after several flybys with the Osprey, I noticed the difficulty in refueling at the end of the flight, and I tend to fly non-stop as soon as I find one. My plan is to be friendly, help people out, pick them up, bring them to a specified destination (or just a grand tour for the new players...). Communications with other air traffic is also common, as it is best to know what is going on in one side of the map. I will do this for as long as I can... ...until the fuel bar reaches a critical state. At then, I warn the entire map and aviators of my intent to ram into one of them for sheer sport. Yes, I am going kamikaze, because really, I have nothing to lose. Everyone usually accepts, and they use a logical assortment of tactics, such as small helicopters, landing their aircraft until I crash into someone/ run out of fuel, or even try to shoot me down (without success, as it seems the VTOL can take a hell of a beating.) This leads to my first ramming today... A Chinook, flying along the eastern side of Panthera. I had several requests to ram this certain aircraft (and for own personal reasons). Thankfully, the Chinook is difficult to maneuver, and they didn't have time to escape before the convenient pole erected at the front of my Osprey penetrated their ship. I and the entire crew aboard perish. I should become an honorary mention on that server...

OP does have a legit question, and he should see a few of his answers in the Q&A list. Sense medal goes to him for this topic that doesn't rant about WarZ. Nobody knows what to expect from the Standalone. With a deadline in a month, I am sure Rocket is working at a good pace to make it as user-friendly and atmospheric as possible (along with a variety of enterable buildings, thank god...). Our best option is too see the development blog, observe, and offer advice to the developers to make DayZ Standalone an experience of a life-time.

You are a waste to the game and should be a more legit admin. I have come across in several cases where some guy spawned in the middle of a supermarket, and I gladly them for their unfair gameplay and their stupid thinking. The entire game idea is to scavenge and survive, not go to different servers because you can't find a fucking military rifle at an airfield. If you don't have the patience to loot, then you have no place within this community.

Ever fly a helicopter in DayZ? How about a plane? How about BOTH? MV-22... in the middle of the northern airfield of Panthera, fully operational with gas tank full. One hell of a ride pursued... What was your best aircraft experience?

I play regular on public and private hives. I act more alert in public, no matter what the situation on my status. On private, I have more freedom. I can keep a character on map to actually game, with the another just to fuck around and do whatever in the map. ...gotta loves me some improvisation.

Skalka and the Northern pass has a good hunting season for tents going on right now. Might even go on for a while! The majestic camping tents have recently got out of hibernation, and migrated south from the pass for weapons and supplies.

I tend to keep teaming up on a level of invitation and meet on teamspeak. However, and encounter with me has usually ended well for both sides. We exchange tips and recent news down south in the server. If he requires and medical assistance or supply, I will be happy to provide a couple of beans or a bloodbag. Then I we would part ways.

Sidearm: Makarov (Yes, would you like to argue about it?): It is just such a reliable weapon against zombies, and occasionally that odd player. Has gotten me out of some tough situations. With it's common extent in the world and plentiful ammo, never underestimate this efficient sidearm. Primary: Winchester 1866, the gun that one the west: A fine shotgun (RIFLE GOD DAMMNIT) under it's fine and fairly common ammo. Effective zombie weapon and good for single player engagements in close quarters. Has done well in long ranges for me. Rare: Bizon PP-19 SD: Though very rare and sometimes criticized for it's iron sights and weak damage, I see it as a great weapon in engaging players with. If you are lucky to find a few clips, you will have enough ammo in that clip to eliminate at least 2 players with a cool head and quick thinking. Any facts based in this OPINION can be proven false, but this is not my problem.

Whenever I walk around with nothing on me, and I suddenly hear a bullet whiz by, I am always happy to inform my attacker that all he is doing is wasting his ammo and revealing his position to other players. They don't listen, but either way, it's a good thing to do just to piss them off, because they know that they are wasting ammo.
