Best suggestion is join a server that has the word Recruit on it, (if you have a map) and you can actually see in your map where exactly you are.

Hey guys from EU. me and 3 other RL mates of mine are playing Day Z mostly everyday. We want to make a small clan so if anyone wants in please hit me a PM. We use skype as voice communication and we normally play from 17:00 to whatever. sometimes even 1am GMT+2 and on the server LU15 (had a tent there but lost it). anyhow the only requirement we ask is you are around our age (28), do a mini interview with me and speak fluent english (if you are greek better) but ye we only want like 3 people more. if you already have a ghulie suit it would be an extra +++ as I wanted to be a requirement for joining but then again some thought thats a stupid requirement. lol. oh and also, we are mostly doing NW airfield - devils castle runs and now we are gonna head to berezino to see if we can get a car. Update: It is required for you to have a ghulie suit if you want to join in, that way it will show us that you are serious and you really want to be part of a team and not some random guy who will steal us or w/e.

We just had 1 more RL friend join us so me and my other friends said its best off to stick to RL people. sorry guys.

Sorry beatSTV. it clearly says in my post, ghulie suit is a requirement. we just dont want "noobs" in our small group :] we want serious people that have to do something to earn a spot.

Damn, Nerd is one of our group and he spawned nowhere to be found! that's an issue we have to fix cause its game-ruining.

Soppa. I am from Greece and me and a friend are thinking of getting our own server. Approximately how much will our ping be? we usually have 80ms on German servers. Also price depends on the slots or is it the same price for all ?

Well steven at first i was like, im gonna quit this game, but after 20 minutes im like lets start over and pwn some zombies again :D

Today was the best day of DayZ . started early at 11AM, met up with my friend. Went to starry sobor. Went in the supermarket, got a makarov, a revolver, a map, a bottle with water, head out, crawling on our way out a zombie that was crawling sees my friend and goes behind him, we decide to meet up on the hills on the opposite side, he goes the other way, he is wearing also a camo! which is imba, anyways i hear my friend on skype saying he is seeing a guy so he starts shooting at him, all the zombies start going berserk (im at the hill at this point watching everything like an observer!)really tense, he kills the guy, he throws a flare and zombies are eliminated. he is safe, he comes at where i am, i say lets go see if u killed the guy and loot him. we go, I find a tent, a lee ensfield,a map,binoculars and head out! we head out and we see a guy running towards a helicopter! my friends shoots at him, he disconnects! after a while 8-10 zombies spawn right there starting chasing my friend, i was crouched going towards the heli, zombies dont pay attention on me, my friend kills all 8 zombies alone! we head to the heli, i find a really good weapon (silencer assault rifle) b something, then we head out to find a place to place our new tent. Then i have to go do some stuff and continue later on. BEST day of the game thus far and lucky we didnt get killed. the camo plays a big role imho since when im running with my friend i even cant tell where he is at!

First time playing this game today! After some discussions with a friend he finally convinced me to buy this mod. Its really nice! through the streams ive been seeing u cant really see that the graphics are quite good! didnt expect that! Now to my story: I spawned at Cherno went to podriski i believe its called me and my friends talking through skype we finally meet in a forest. We head north and my friends tells me he knows some good places to get gear going. Indeed i have a Lee Enfield shotgun after 20 minutes of play, some soda, beans, coke so he says lets go for the good stuff. so we head to city that has a big ballon in a building and a church on the left with a golden dome. We suddendly see a car and my friends goes like "oh be carefull now there is players here". after a while while crouched going outside the town to see whats going on, i suddendly die me and my friend so it was all over. Next try we both head north to cherno as a meeting point, my friends finds a random guy and they party, i arrive, we try going for some more loots, a zombie chases us so we open fire, we kill every zombie that came after us, guy that was with us kills my friends then kills me. FUNNY stuff. We will continue tomorrow !
