    You will have the same ID on each copy of the game since it's on the same steam account. Yes, you will have the same character on both computers.

    I can't tell if you're serious or not. Players can not get a global ban unless they are the ones who hack. If a hacker is active on a server there is NO WAY they can get anyone else on the server globally banned unless he had them install something themselves.

    Are you sure the other players on the server aren't having the same issue? They seem to be greyed out as well.

    I don't think "Bad serial number given in setup" has anything to do with your CD-Key. I would suggest reinstalling Arma 2 and DayZ. Edit: Check this out http://forums.bistud...read.php?138564

    I would not suggest using the Steam launcher for DayZ.

    Maybe the server hasn't updated it's script restriction. Best bet is that you are running the wrong version, like Steak said.

    As Xucphra said, you need to launch Arma 2 and Arma 2 AO to the main menu at least once.
