No, I will always be using teamspeak regardless. They can't restrict players from using outside sources to communicate, because you could easily be in the same room as the other person.

It is awesome, very awesome! If you had a map could you put down some floating indicator in front of you IRL? Edit: Don't try to pull the "This isn't real life" card, because we all know this game was designed as a realistic survival simulator (mind the zombies) -

Press "Space" to bring up your weapon. It might also help you if you tried third person with the "Enter" key on the num-pad. Some servers restrict you to first person only though. -
Correct. That is what makes DayZ, DayZ. Your character becomes somewhat valuable to you, since you could lose all your hard work at any second.
