Try not to join private hives. If you join a public hive that deletes your character try another server. Is this post for the mod of stand alone?

Keep up to date with news on the game. They had an update. Make sure your game is updated and then refresh your server list.

I don't like the idea of them adding any AI other than zombies. The whole point of DayZ is to have player-player interaction, and the human AI will be a waste of server space. -
Different kinds of maps instead of splitted map

I like these ideas. Map tools like rulers will definitely come in handy, but having so many different maps already make them less valuable for me, because it's not even worth finding all the pieces for what they offer. Unfortunately I don't think in-game maps will ever be worth anything unless they have more unrealistic benefits like global map markers, which I don't support. Most will just stick to http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus
