Are you playing on the experimental servers because I have never seen anyone get kicked for file check. Plus people are currently abusing plenty of file dragging and dropping loopholes.

You don't need to edit the PBO file to change view distance, detail, or grass. Also, BE hasn't been set to detect game file integrity yet, otherwise it would kick you automatically like it did in the rest of the Arma series. The only reason why battleye will ban you is if you are running scripts or hacking in some sort of way. Editing your game files will not get you banned.

Surprisingly this game is doing much better than any other alpha that I've seen dealing with hackers. Maybe you just have a clouded judgement on what to expect from an alpha game, because your expectations are clearly much higher than they should be while you are testing a game. Edit: This game actually does better job of dealing with hackers than some of the fully released games out there.
