From the wiki.. A tent can hold a fixed amount of each item-type, within the item-type each item counts as one (unlike in the Inventory system). A tent can hold up to five backpacks, ten weapons & tools and fifty general items. For example one tent can hold five binoculars, five M4A1s, fourty STANAG mags, ten engine parts and five backpacks at the same time. If you place a filled backpack into the tent, the contents of the backpack will remain. My question is.. If you place a filled backpack in the tent will the items in the pack take up regular items spacing in the tent?

Ok.. I logged in off of server restart. been going for a couple hours now. I checked tent1 where I was able to unpack basically inside a tree :). All the belongings were gone and It duplicated 2 times so Now I have 3 tents in that location total and They are all empty. Tent site 2. The tent was NOT in a tree and duplicated once where each tent has ZERO items in it. WTH? Another question. in times past i would pack the tents up and move them and more tents would spawn in the exact same location. Does me no good if they spawn empty.

Well, I accidentally left my gun in my backpack when I put it in the tent. i saved the tent not knowing. Whatever the case. I left it alone.. i will repost my results when the server restarts

Personally, i recommend that you are both updated to launch the games with the same versions. use the six updater It seems to be consistent with most of the legit servers that are connected to the hive. Secondly, some servers may have a ping kicker. So try to find a server or location that is close to both of you. Lastly. Patience! This game takes forever to load sometimes. Just wait for it.

I very rarely find vehicles. Rented our own server and cant find designated vehicles according to the www.dayzdb.com/map So Im just wondering, When do vehicles get reset back to the original spawn points? It seems the markers on the map for them are never accurate. How do I get a vehicle. I am so tired of running. Preferably a bike.

OK.. again. I have never seen a helicopter, either in the air or freshly spawned. I have seen chopper crash sites. But they are different right?

I heard that the devs removed the helicopters from the game. Is this true?

If this is where we post problems with the update... People can only join my server on restart. and when they rejoin they lose about 45 minutes from the last place they were at. They are NOT able to disconnect and come back.

Only time I can join my server is when i restart it. If I logoff and come back 20 mintues later. I can not connect. Waiting for character to create.

What the heck? How do you use these things? I was able to open it once a few days ago. But the one I have now I have tried to place in about 20 different flat locations even parking lots! and still cant place it. Any ideas?

Man.. thats bad news about tents.

I think there is more to it than a 7 day respawn. I havnt even seen any rotor assemblys lately.

Id like to hear an official statement. Is this a bug? when are vehicles normally respawned back?

Hey puma.. I hate bandits too. Thought I could control over them buy buying a server and getting as many friendlies in there as possible. Truth is. Everyone is scared. They see Possible friendlies and they shoot them in fear of getting shot first. I agree with the previous poster. Best thing you can do is get in a Teamspeak and be friends with a someone. Man. You touch on some touchy subjects here. They are so antiban for specific things, now your saying we should have the ability to ban for server jumping? Last night I was so pissed, all the hive issues forced a server crash. I restarted the server and was by myself for roughly 5 minutes. I stumbled across a helicopter crash and started to take out the zombies. Now im in the middle of no where. Just north of stary sober. There was to the best of my knowledge NO ONE in the server. I start to investigate the crash and then I get shot. Im like WTF!! This guy spawned in and within seconds killed me. Should I have the ability to now ban him because he spawned into the server right next to this helicopter crash site? Honestly, Im on your side. But I think that all TOS expectations should be lifted and server owners should have the ability to host how they see fit. Personally, Id like to drop my server down to 10ppl or have the ability to lock it.

Dont worry, It will be fixed when the Hive is fixed ;)
