    Reducing accuracy drastically

    The thing you guys are forgetting is that the further away a target is the more your breathing errs the sight a milimeter away from your aim point and the pull of the trigger errs the aimpoint,that milimeter or two of change makes a big difference over distance.I have a friend of mine who tried so hard to become a sniper in marines and just could not pull off shots well.Not talking about 1000m but even closer like 500m shots.he says that most snipers guys in his squad grew up on farms and have been shooting their whole lives. So I think this idea is great and I agree its better with dispersion than weapon sway.Could have 5 levels of proficiency that you get from 5 days survived.First day and 1 in 5 shots with a sniper hits its mark.2nd day and 2 in 5 until 5th day survived and the weapons are as accurate as they are in Dayz right now....or rather you learn how to shoot and each shot aimed right hits the mark.

    Delay health recovery

    I agree with this^^^Its great to have slow health regen in that it allows you to have injured squad mates or players your fighting against etc and kinda forces players to hang low for awhile hunting and eating to gather health.I think a good system is where you eat a steak and then have 1000b regen over the time it takes for the food icon to start blinking.This signals that the body needs food to rebuild again and so the next steak adds in another 1000b slowly added in as the food icon goes red.Canned foods,since they are lower protein/nutrients,only give 300b over this time. What the game needs is to strive to make it so that your constantly doing something.So after an intense fight that you barely survive,you should not be in full health after eating 10 steaks 1 minute later but instead a good few hours later. ;)

    Great idea but is only really necessary if stamina is added to game since then you wanna be light upon scavenging a village.Backpacks are ideal because you can drop one down in a bush somewhere.Just have to remember which bush. :D

    Fix zeds indoors

    Hello again,I have been against the slowing down of zeds from day one.That scream and the resulting sprint at you at full speed makes the zeds feel dangerous.But then just now it dawned on me that maybe a better game would come from slowing the zeds down to very slightly slower than players and allowing them full speeds thru buildings.Right now I sprint thru towns gathering zeds and then run to a 2 exit bldg.I then sprint to where I want and then back to 2 exit bldg before final escape back to safety of forests.That sucks for many reasons.:( So what difference would this bring is that now you are slightly faster and so must dodge in and out of buildings,thru alleyways etc until you feel you have enough distance to then go slow crouch/prone.With stamina this is even better as you kinda have a timer where you better lose them or they start catching up to you.Could make it so that entering towns has players dropping their packs in outskirts to be able to run around in villages if need be. A big question remains here though and that is if allowing zeds full speed thru bldg's is even possible.Anyone from dev team can answer this....plz.;)

    The threats in this game no longer exist.

    Stamina is one way to add in a difficulty factor by allowing the player to slow down enough that infected start getting hits in here and there.It can become where you agrro and then have that small window of time where you need to lose them before stamina steps in adding to the tension of the chase.Whats great is if its tied in with carrying weight then beginner noobs can run forever as they do now but as you start carrying weight you may need to turn and fight if you can't shake em fast neough.

    Give Us a real bow

    Would love a bow and to fix it so that we can have quivers.This way you can start cutting the ammo spawns and people could still survive by shoot and retrieve arrows.Would love to have to hoard ammo for special occasions.

    Its only because they do not yet know how to game the game.you know....head to a super market....grab an alice pack and load up with so many cans of food you will get bored and have to go kill somebody;)

    They need to reduce the food and drink spawns firstly as OP mentioned.Then a very important tweak is to make the blood loss when starving/dehydrated 10 times slower.You reduce the food/drink spawns wthout this major tweak and you will have starving people rage quitiing and spweing hate spam on these forums. The reasons why they need to have food so abundant and same with drinks is because they put the time to bleed out way too high.if this was slowed down so you could play hours and hours while searching for food stuffs and hunting around you increase the survival feel of the game.Also the rate at which you increase health back with food is too fast.Slow that down and you will find that your running around Chenarus usually close to death but its manageable to survive.

    OMG and here we will argue over how many players are playing when the game needs a huge change in difficulty while at same time is playable at this increased difficulty for a long time.Look above at my post for enlightment.;)

    Ideas to make it more survival zombie apocalypse. Remove super markets as the main equipment draw and spread out the loot they give all over the map.Should be able to find backpacks in houses along with matches that run out after 10 fires.Canteens etc etc.I mean all towns should have something to loot that will prolong your suffering....instead of go to market and load your alice pack and be good for a long time. Make the blood drain when your starving very slow.then make blood/health gain also very slow.I am talking here like 200 from cooked meats and 100 from canned foods.then make foods and drink very VERY rare.Now what you have is the perfect vehicular engine to drive this apocalypse feel we all crave.Starving for a day or two with 2000 health left and your hunting and scavneging like crazy just to survive. This then makes everyone on map starving to a slow death wherein now murdering a player just for his gear is a real option and not a gamey effect as it is in dayz right now. Then make each zombie hit take away 1000 blood and you will fear them like crazy. ;)

    I was actually thinking that these NWO enemy were real players.You get smoother gameplay when you steer away from AI and actual players are much better to fight against.The reason for my post is that I feel a strong urge not to KOS as do a HUGE portion of the DayZ playerbase.But it will never ever stop. ;) So I feel its better to make the game to where there is a story behind the crazy things that are happening.Someone can make up some better stuff as this is just a quick thought on it. The reason for the masks is to differentiate bandits from survivors but with a story behind it and does not have to be gas masks.The story is that bad people want control in this new lawless world.Like in 28 days later how the gang made a strong hold as their base.These marauders could be out to force control in the new world.So NWO or new world order as slang for them.Just a bunch of psychopaths with a control agenda.You spawn a mask then you say to the world that you are with the NWO.This could open up the game to a huge amount of unique skins with not only bandits looking kool but plain survivors could get excellent skins themselves. http://www.the-two-m...22608_hamas.jpg http://cache.gawkera...ask_gearbox.jpg http://assets.nydail...y_635/image.jpg http://www.mtviggy.c...001-300x300.jpg

    Couple of suggestions to make it less of a deathamtch

    I think the end to this banditry problem is to just add in teams.We all want deathmatch and that is not going away any time soon as the game relies on PVP fear factor.So why not add in some type of factions to the game.Give people what they want...to kill other players but with a story to play off of. So you wanna hunt and kill then hunt the enemy while surviving the apocalypse.Now think of a good story to immerse the players into this world where a zombie apocalypse is happening at same time as a war between survivors is happening.

    With much slower blood loss rate when icons are blinking you get the "got to find food fast" feeling but its not a fast death sentence.Right now it starts blinking and you watch the blood just drain out of you so rapidly.

    Tents NEED to change.

    Its probably been mentioned already but I think a great purpose for the tent is a way to prevent the DC saga we have now.make it so that in order to leave a server you have to erect the tent firstly and then lay down to sleep in it at which point you log off.

    I posted before on this but with a twist.Not regular military since it seems weird that they would be killing all survivors also.Instead have it so some kind of corrupt government bent on killing the survivors to start a new world order.Real evil guys wearing gas masks as the virus is still airborne and so many survivors will eventually succumb to it.Think Stalker like and have these guys as players instead of AI.In order to get to be one you need to achieve something.Then force servers to have a 2 to 1 ratio in favor of survivors.This would be so immersion boosting if your struggling to survive and see these guys coming up the dirt hill your camped at. Maybe they get one chopper per server and the pilot shuttles new blood out as this squad roams the land trying to eradicate any survivors left.Would be excellent to see it tie in with the upcoming underground bases that survivors will be building.
