First time I've ever seen that happen. I logged in on the rooftop of the hospital in Elektro to the sound of a building being demolished. I checked across the street and watched it collapse into itself. It was a non-enterable building, so it wasn't really a big deal. However, I logged into a different server later to see that the Elektro hospital had collapsed, rendering the delicious morphine inside unretrievable. Has anyone had experience with this? Why was this happening? It was the strangest thing I've seen in this game, I had no idea that was even possible.

Good to know that new sources of griefing are higher on Rocket's to-do list than fixing the bugs that already exist.

I have seen the light: Time to kill random strangers!

I'd say the game at this stage is indeed a death match. -
Almost don't want to report this one because it saved my life, but I feel it's only fair. Thanks to the buggy ladders, I fell and broke my legs. Luckily, I had a bike, so I pedaled my way to the nearest church, which was in Pogorevka. On the way, I stumbled across a downed heli with some gear outside, among which was Civilian Clothing. When I put on my clothing, I no longer had to crawl everywhere, but the broken bone status symbol was still there and the colors/sounds were all still dulled. Running version 1.7.1.5 with beta build 94103, playing on Atlanta 35. All of this happened today, June 25th at around 5 PM Eastern Time.

There's nothing worse than sneaking your way into a village with only a handful of zeds only to have 20 more spawn all around you while you're in a house.

Just starved to death in Cherno

No, you certainly aren't alone. In a typical clear of a residential area or a farm, I'll find probably 4 or 5 hatchets/crowbars, some ammo for a weapon I'll never find, 10 cans of soda, and maybe a can of beans if I'm lucky that day. It's pretty brutal out there now. As others have said, though, I see plenty of animals, so if you find a hunting knife you're going to be in a good spot. -
Why are my leg bones made of glass?
knotwrite replied to knotwrite's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
It's certainly a possibility, haha. If my legs keep getting destroyed in this game, I might also end up in an institution for the criminally insane. -
Sort of defeats the purpose of melee weapons when zeds snap my legs in half on the first hit, and I do mean the first. I snuck around for hours with my hatchet, trying to find a damn gun, but a zed saw/heard me through a wall (I was indoors), strolled inside and shattered my femurs. I was at 12k blood, mind you. First altercation with a zombie for that entire life. I really love the realism aspect of this game. I think it's pretty awesome. But it just seems rather easy for a zombie to break your legs and leave you helpless, especially since we no longer start with morphine (or a gun, or water...).

Starting Without a Gun (1.7.1-1.7.1.5)

Doesn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, though. Scavenge for food and avoid zombies? No crap. This game is just brutal now without a starting pistol. I tried moving through a city to get to a church and spooked one zombie and all I had to defend myself with was a crowbar. He knocked me out immediately and that was game over. Lots of fun.
