  1. If it's F2P like Guild Wars style than I'm K.
  2. Hopefully? A 690 can run Battlefield 3 with every setting maxed out at like 99 fps. You should be okay. :p
  3. I love pvp. But PvP-less servers would be possible if they like, doubled the amount of zombies and how hard they hit.
  4. I've been to the forums of many a major online game: WoW, EVE, Runescape, etc. and now Day Z. And I've just now recognized something, all these forums are filled with whiners or jerks. Flooded, infested, swamped with these awful people complaining or insulting each other. So what is it: Are all online games populated by a heavy majority of horrible human beings, do only these vermin feel that it is necessary to comment on the forums, or is Roger Federer on his way to another Wimbledon victory?

Logging out to avoid a serverhopper.

As soon as they log I either run to a better position or if it is somewhere like a middle of a field I just log out with them. If the environment ain't friendly then I ain't fighting no Nightcrawler...damn mutants...

    Derps and YOU.

Ah yes, "Carebears", the "hardcore" players bitter foe. Where the the hardcore player thrives, the carebears in turn, whine. But here is my question: Why are you hardcore players bothered by carebears? How can they "ruin" Day Z? Do you expect Rocket to bend over just because a bunch of whiners want to be away from danger? They obviously can't harm you in the game, you can just, well, kill them. So why are carebears so bad?
  7. I live in the United States and not a single DSL/Cable provider is within reach where I live. (A suburb of Little Rock, Arkansas). Only an ignorant fool would think everyone has some awesome stable 100 ping or less connection.
  8. Some hardcore keyboard warriors talking about how they kill on sight to survive. Cause that's how survivors live in this desolate world. Pretty sure you wouldn't be killing every person you see as the only chance for a possible rebuilding of society is with other people.

can i run DayZ on this desktop i'm going to buy?

Yeah should run great. But AMD processors suck compared to Intel :P
  10. 1. Because I'm a normal human being. Although thinking what you will do in a zombie apocalypse has no impact on what you would actually do in one.
  11. Probably no Hispanics, or Japanese, or mother fucking Pumas. Maybe cause this is set in some Eastern European setting which is generally populated by 99% natives?
  12. The party that was hiding the vehicles was actually doing a good job. Two ATV's partly hidden by a tree and a dirtbike. The vehicles as a whole were very far away from any populated area and well off in the wilderness away from any settlements with anything significant to loot. I passed by about 20 meters to the left of it, not noticing anything at all when suddenly out of the corner of my eye...I see a bright shiny white truck. Not only did I find some very good gear for my day old character in these vehicles: NVGoggles, rangefinder, map, gps, medical supplies, military grade ammo. I also took an ATV for a spin. Long story short, don't try and hide yo big ass white truck in the woods or some carebearing noob is gonna loot yo place. PS. If you want the ATV back, walk north to a big clearing, on the far side it should be there.
  13. ...it's the stairs. Zombies claw me to death = shame on me for letting them trap me. Bandit popping me in the back of the head = I should have been more careful. Going up the stairs breaks my legs = dafuq And it is incredibly boring having to be forced to crawl until I can (A. Crawl to some morphine spawn) or (B. kill some unlucky plebian and steal his) Thoughts on this? Is this a common problem? Am I n00b carebear? Will LeBron James win his first NBA Championship?
