I've had time to get used to the controls, my problem with them is they haven't fixed anything, they've just swapped one poor system for another and vicinity is the most unreliable thing ever. Like I said I think Breaking point in ARMA 3 does a much better job, I never had any problems picking up loot in that mod, though that might just be an ARMA 3 thing, I dunno as I haven't actually played the core game. Also does any one know how you can tell what server you're on once you've joined and forgotten? It's really annoying as it makes it hard to play with friends and you cannot copy or paste the IP before you join either. The unconscious thing is something that will have the most complaints, I'm seeing a lot of random bodies out there that I know haven't been shot, It's happened to me 3 times and my mate gave up after it happened to him lol.

For me personally I prefer the movement of the mod, I dunno it gave me a sense of weight and place in the world, though I agree with doorways. I don't really like ARMA 3 or Dayz SA movement all that much, but I spose I have to live with it now as it wont be changing.

You have to double tap f now to turn on your flash light, you have to drag it to hand, then click x to take it off? Equipping is like double tapping one as a single tap doesn't do it, yet sometimes double tapping makes it come out and go back in again? It isn't as good as the mod in any way so far, I cannot see the lighting either because every server seems to be night time. I don't like the torch much, it seems to light something up or it doesn't, there is no gradual fade like a real torch. It'll probably be something I play on or off as it isn't good atm. Breaking Point on ARMA 3 has a much better UI and control system, they should copy that.

Tbh I'll just have to download Razer software to see if I can make run a toggle on a macro key.

For some reason said "if we put a dedicated button in, people will use it" and made that out to be a bad thing.... why? It's not like you're given an advantage, if you're auto running you're more likely to die as you cannot react as fast to danger. I always use that Steam overlay bug with the mod to auto run, I couldn't imagine the game without it, I tried playing ARMA 3 Breaking Point, but it becomes so tedious running everywhere and having to hold it down, this is why MMOs put an auto run button in. It is all well and good saying he jams a coin in his keyboard to do it, however I have a £130 Razer keyboard that I would like to not break. I would also like to not wear out W faster than any other key, especially since putting a new one in require a lot of effort and soldering. Please lets have a dedicated auto run button like num lock or something.

It isn't just gonna show up.... He'll at the very least hint at it like "It will most likely be released in the next few days" or say "testing is finished" or "it will be released today".. He isn't just gonna say nothing and it appears.

You know there are two resolutions in ArmA 2 and if the bottom one is lower than the top it makes the game super blurry and horrible to look at.... that is what all his videos look like. On top of that there is this horrible motion blur which on top of the resolution blur effect, it just looks like one big blurry mess. Then it is like he has ugly post processing effects on which I just cannot stand as it adds this weird HDR glow to everything that is so unrealistic and typical of like the early 360 days of gaming. I bet he has FXAA as well which is just the devil, I hate it, just turn MSAA up or buy a crazy high resolution monitor so you don't see jaggies, there is no need for FXAA. Just make it looks nice a crisp Dean! Why I prefer CS 1.6 over CS:GO because 1.6 was simple and nice and crisp, it looks 100 times better than the mess they made with CS:GO and all the stupid filters and smoke effects and bloom... eurgh.

Can you get blood type tests from a shop? My Mum said I was AB+ years ago but she is always wrong...

Does changing the graphical settings impact the game all that much? I can turn mine from lowest to highest and my FPS stays virtually the same... shit lol.

If it isn't better than the mod, then wtf have they been working on? If it releases and people just go back to the mod, it's a disaster, you only have one first impression. People do not listen to alpha. beta or whatever fancy name you decided to tack on to a game you're charging for. If the game sucks, it'll die fast and no one will care....

If it's worse than the mod out of the gate, it has failed. The whole point of it is to be better than the mod...it's the sole reason it exists and if it isn't... don't release it.

It's like removing a death penalty, now I can spawn where I want and get back to where I died in 10 mins. At least before it was random so there was a chance you'd get heavily penalised if you spawned somewhere so far away. Now I just don't feel any tension in a fight, I don't care about gear as it is so easy to get it because zombie A.I is broken and I'm not afraid of them like I was when I first started, now I know they're not a threat. I just find the game boring, it's not harsh any more... When I die I want to feel loss like I felt when playing EVE Online and losing my first battleship I saved up months for back in 2003. That is what makes your heart pump and I used to feel it in Dayz and I don't because I realised the zombies are broken and stuff like choosing where you spawn has has dumbed it down a bit. It's the same reason why I hate custom servers, you can get loot at the drop of a hat, if loot isn't rare then it isn't fun. If everyone is running around with military gear and all have cars in SA, then straight away it's shit. I want to spend months finding something like I used to in Dayz so when I lose it I'm gutted. I've still never found nvgs in game, but I don't see any value in them either as every servers seems to be day time all the time. It's another dumbing down thing that servers never used to do but they all do it now. I miss night time :\

That airfield shouldn't be there and the map shouldn't be so coast heavy as really all it has encouraged is everyone to stay at one of the two cities. The map needs a river running through it and a city placed in the middle and two of the three airfields to be taken out. It just needs something to make it more than Elektro and Cherno.... while you can go to other places on the map, there is really no point as there is nothing there that you cannot get anywhere else other than the NW airfield which is boring to get to as there is nothing before it but Stary. You have to spawn at the coast because if it was changed to spawning at random locations on the map, you'll get a situation where you spawn behind someone and that isn't good for balance of the game. It's nice to stake out a place and know no one is there, if suddenly you had a new spawn who happened to find a weapon and then killed you... you'd feel cheated. So really the map just needs more to make it exciting, to make you want to move inland. Right now if you've seen one town you've seen them all as the buildings are copied and pasted and share the same loot. I know admins can remove the feature, but they don't and it's a struggle to find a good server, one that I don't want to spend time doing. It isn't a good feature and should just be taken out because you cannot rely purely on admins to make your game good.

I don't see the point in having a map or compass tbh, I already know the map like the back of my hand, I can run to anywhere in the game and never need any of that stuff.

Like being able to do P90X or Insanity on the Fitness app....... Nope you get one workout and then it directs you to the DVD......

Seriously I haven't seen any since like 2012, there used to be loads around but now there isn't a single one. (I'm only talking about official, I hate the stupid custom servers as they always just become a DM with military gear)
