I... honestly think this is a pretty good idea. Adds a touch of realism to the game. Plus, now I won't think I'm crazy when I hear random whooshing noises overhead and see nothing. I do see how this could possibly just cause everybody to swarm the heli (If you crash it, they will come) but honestly, if we start to get the spawn points down to a science, that'll happen anyways. -
Electro (though it'll probably be just as empty as Cherno, due to all the spawnees being on the coast), Polano, Zelenogorsk, Pustoschka, Vybor, there's two in Berezino, and if you're really feeling hardcore, you can try for the one in Stary. No seriously, though. Don't go for the one in Stary. No matter how badass you are, you will die. Probably. Or at least get shot at if there are horrible shots on overwatch. But it really isn't worth the risk. Just go for Vybor instead. It's just up the road.

Not really. The sarcasm with that specific form of post (the 'constructive contribution' lead in) has been pretty overused in the past few days. It's not all that funny or unexpected anymore, to be honest.

But only if it continues to persist after respawns. Since you'll die. Every time. Forever. And that tends to be a classic gamebreaking bug. But, as with you, I've never experienced these bugs myself. Doesn't rule them out as existing, but it doesn't appear they're all that common. -
Do you ever feel guilty for shooting on site?

I do feel some remorse, yes. Only because I've pretty much devolved into what many players consider the scum of the game. But realistically, I have my reasons for doing so. I've been shot in the back multiple times by my supposed 'allies', so maybe I harbor a few grudges. I only trust those in TeamSpeak with me. Never even gotten a chance to use Direct chat. No reason to approach and chance a bullet to the brain at 80m when I can zero in from about 300m and not have the possibility of dying. -

I do miss having no remorse for shooting specks. Nowadays, I have it in the back of my mind that the guy I just killed might've only just found that Winchester or Enfield two or three minutes ago, and all he's got on him is a bandage and painkillers otherwise. But, yeah. I doubt we're gonna make progress with giving spawnees better loot. I'm still killing them either way.

Sorry to break it to ya, but they're not zombies. Lore says they're in fact infected humans. Or they've been sniffing bath salts. Something like that. Anyways, the point here is that we can't apply Romero-logic here because they're not the risen dead. I don't have a quarrel with a slight slow-down (since we've already gotta deal with their silly strafing maneuvers and their teleportation at close distances), but most of us don't want shamblers.

To my knowledge, it's only supposed to happen at < 9k blood. But it seems it's been happening at higher blood levels to more and more people.

I normally wouldn't be the guy doing this, but I think you guys are doing it wrong. Yeah, matchboxes tend to be hella rare. But recently, since I've been rolling with a few mates, we've been hitting supermarkets every so often. And every time, I've found anywhere between two to five matchboxes. Granted, those might be just my lucky spawns. But we hit them just about every few days, and I'm always finding the things. So, if all else fails, just check your local supermarket. Though, I really wouldn't suggest Cherno. That place'll probably be cleaned out before you can blink.

Could be interesting. Though since I really doubt most people go more than a few meters without patching themselves up, I doubt it will have much of an application. I suppose, though that limping into a house, then patching up, could lead to some pretty lulzy action where zeds start to congo in after you.

To my knowledge there seems to be a high spawn percentage for the buggers near Stary. So if you're really ballsy and don't mind getting shot at, you could do a few laps around the outskirts and you might find yourself a flaming herald from the British Isles, packed to the brim with the fists of gods and eyes to match. -

Been hanging around NE recently, and never seen anything remotely fitting your description. Possibly a rare, random spawn snuck into the code for shits and giggles, but I'm gonna call a fib on this one until we can see some photos. -

Yeah, I really wish this bug would get fixed. I tend to take anywhere between three to five minutes just to simply switch out between weapons on the ground, because I don't want to accidentally delete an M107 (again) or an FN FAL with NV (again) simply because I was in a hurry. But hey, Alpha is Alpha. -
Ohh. MREs. Yum. As long as the cardboard (or what the call 'breadsticks') can be opted out of. I still can't get that taste out of my mind. And it's nearly been five years.

I can see this being a legitimate problem. Never thought of it that way. I definitely agree that having just the hands shake, as well as the ADS, would be a reasonable compromise. It'd still be hella hard to shoot, but at least you could walk around without making yourself sick. -
Yespleaseandthankyou. Seriously. This would give me a reason to hang with one of my mates again. He's not that great of a DayZ player, but when it comes to flying, he's a helluva pilot. All that aside, though, cruising around in a fucking biplane would be awesome.

I don't see how they're too common if there are only three or four in each server. They're a helluva lot easier to find if the spawns are predetermined, but they aren't common in that way. Either way, if it does get to the point where we start marking down the exact locales for each of them, there aren't really any ways to break it. We could make loot respawn so follow ups wouldn't have to leave empty handed, but then that makes one of the best loot-spawns in the game exploitable. We could also just have the choppers disappear a lot quicker, but that really wouldn't make much of a difference since people would still be able to make circuits to each of them quite quickly still. I'd rather not see them go, since I always get a small sense of satisfaction when I come across a chopper (which might possibly fade if they start appearing on the interactive maps online) and they're a great present for people who aren't always sticking to the roads and willing to go adventuring. But if they start to get tracked to a T, I'm not really sure what we'd be able to do. -
Raiding a barn isn't PvP. Unless nobody told me you can start as a barn upon character creation. Can we get that added to the game? I've played enough of Male and Female. I want to try some time playing as a Barn. Just to see how it is. (In all seriousness, though, I haven't actually run into this problem yet. But I have seen it happen to others first hand, and it's a pretty cheese'd way to go. Infini-spawns are never fun.)

Yeah. If you remove the HUD in the full release (if there is one), it'll be pretty grand. Also, if you can, you might want to look into using a to film. Unless you're going for that helmet cam look. Either way, it's definitely something I'd want to see more of.Liked and subbed, mate.
