I don't know why this topic is so funny to me. I really, really don't. Any ways, I'm not on my computer at the moment, so let me see if I can remember from memory. Atlanta 74, 014068. We've got about three tents set up with barely nothing in them. Just a few car parts and food/meds, then tons of guns with no ammo. Vehicle wise, we have two: A military offroad and a Ural. We like to patrol up and down the west side of the map, so you might catch us there.

What the hell is with the rampant NPC H4X? I swear, it's like this was an intended feature. Nuns, priests, and now men in suits? When are we getting clowns?!

Interesting, but no. Would be a waste of quips as well, since I'm pretty sure those would vanish into thin air. Unless the bunny is now carrying all of your gear. If so, that'd be a lucky find for some people. Going for steaks, and leave with NVGs and an M4 SD.

Yeah, not gonna happen. As said, I don't think rocket could if he wanted to. And until night gets sorted out and we can see our hands in front of our faces without it, night will drop to near nil again.

I've always wondered what triggered the bell-ringing myself... I always assumed it was just random intervals of ringing. (Haven't checked, but it might be on a certain timing as well.)

Little late to the party, but there was a single player modification for DayZ. However, rocket confirmed it was breeding new hacks, which you clearly don't want, since that was a part of the OP. So... there's that. And private servers would do no less. People could just work on their H4X, and then try them in the actual HIVE servers when they perfect them. So, case in point, no. No bueno.

Okay, great way to misconstrue my words. I'll give you a +1 for that. But I'm pretty sure you could pick up what I was getting at with the latter half the post. As in to say, we just want the YogsCast to play the game legitimately, rather than showcasing it in an easy-mode that will be unattainable for 99% of the players in this game. If a legitimate first look is too much for them to handle, or it's too boring for viewers to watch, the I think we know the answer as to what's going to happen there. Tons of other Let's Players have clearly pulled it off without the help of admins, and I'm quite sure the YogsCast can do it too. Also, how can their community understand that the way they're showcasing isn't how it's played? They've seen nothing to contrast that at large. Sure, I'm quite sure a sect of the community already knows that how it was played on the video is nothing like it is in-game. But what about those who are completely ignorant to DayZ, sans this video?

It'll never work. We'll just farm what we can. It's just the time-fill until the next gunfight, really. Hell, we're pretty much decked head to toe in all the quips we need (sans NVGS), so we just do it to do it anymore. You'll never eliminate farming. Because we'll just farm what we can. Beans or bullets, it won't stop me.

Not really 'the drop', but once our group was doing raids of the NW Airfield. So, my buddy was watching me from his normal overwatch position. I get on my bike (we happened to find one, so I figured a silent exfil wouldn't hurt, even if it was night), ride towards his position, and see him standing on the very end of the runway. I call to him, he turns around, and he starts asking me over our TeamSpeak channel where the hell I am. I tell him I'm right in front of him, on the run way, on the bike. He tells me he doesn't know what the hell I'm talking about. Now, I'm assuming he just can't see me because I'm the only one with NVGs in our group (he has an FAL with NVG scope), but he's adamant that I'm nowhere to be seen. Next thing I know, I'm down to about 9k, bleeding, but still on my bike. I veer off towards the southern barracks, while my buddy pops out of a bush and unloads into the guy. Fucker dropped, and if he died, his body went with him. Like I said, didn't really have the drop. But if I had had a car, or something bigger than that shitty bike, he would've been a pancake on the ground. Mother fucker.

Hope the guy with the Remmy gets his dick shot. No reason to shoot a survivor whose unarmed, especially when they have to go through a whole animation to even stand up and kill ya. You carrying anything valuable on you, buy the way? Would hope the random dick who breaks up the party wouldn't ruin it for you.

Oh lordy. That's pretty insulting. Dying over a can of beans, and not even getting them. I'm gonna have to try this in Vybor and Lopatino now. See if any wayward survivors take the bait.

Still think you guys are missing the point. Don't want less players. But we want players who actually know how to play the game, rather than believing they'll be able to get on the YogsCast private server and get pistols and morphine and et cetera right off the beach.

Well, if my minimal experiences with spawns in the hospital are correct, I don't think they hinder spawning. So that's cool.

I dunno if I'd call it 'bad luck'. Our group's only come across maybe half a dozen compasses since about 1.7.1.3. They're definitely rarer for some odd reason.

Huh. Never seen one of those spawn before. My question is, will that break farming? As in to say, can it be removed?
