Well, I highly doubt that the forums allot for the bulk of the player base. However, if rocket ever goes the route of Blizzard, then I'm very afraid. The silent majority might just lose to the whining minority. -
So far the bidding stands at one bullet. What caliber' date=' gotta take that into account so we can see whether we need two bullets or just one larger bullet to take the leading bid. [/quote'] .45 caliber, from a 7 round magazine, fired from a fairly used M1911. If need-be, we can bump this up to a 5.56×45mm NATO round from an M16A4 ACOG. And I'm sure if further enhancement is necessary, then I suppose a 12.7x99mm round wouldn't hurt. But I can't go higher than that.

Really? Never noticed it locked at a kilo. Which is weird, because I can sometimes see Cherno from the edge of Electro. Especially if you're up on that ridge near the road. -

It'd take refuge in my local armory, scavenge a nice Wehrmacht coat from a collector (there's quite literally a pawn shop down the street with one in the window), and enjoy tea while sitting behind some fairly strong walls. And if a fallback plan is ever needed, we simply take the solar-powered hot air balloon to the nearest settlement. Yes, I have been thinking about this for a while. No, don't fuck with me. -

To be honest, by the final release of DayZ, I want to see realistic base-building mechanics. Barbed wire and hedgehogs do not make a fortified base. Honestly, even if they were little hamlets of 15 or 20 people, it'd be awesome. But until we get actual ways to build a base that isn't just some pitched tents surrounded by fortifications that are pretty much useless if you have a vehicle, I really don't see a way for that. And I know a lot of people aren't going to like me making this point, but wouldn't this be the most realistic idea? People set up maybe a small hamlet out in the wilderness. They have survivors who want to live there work their dues by scavenging a nearby settlement, or they have traders looking to hand over some spare parts for beans. Right now, it's barely do-able in a safe environment, so it's not the brightest idea. -
Holy shit. Albeit OP is a bit of a dick, you guys really don't have much decency either, it seems. Just because he doesn't want to use Steam doesn't make him a troll. He just wants a physical copy, or a way to get a hold of it without Steam. I mean, fuck. I thought we had more decency on these boards, but I guess not. To OP: I did a quick Google search and came up with quite a few stores in stock. You'll probably have to change the zip, but other than that, this should help you find what you need.

Not to put a dapper on the whole subject, but I can't realistically see how that stat's true. Last I saw, it was at 31 minutes. And unless there was a sudden spike in IQ, I don't understand how it went up 16 minutes, especially with the fact that we just broke 400k players. I could be wrong, though. I just don't see how it could've happened in just a week or so. -
Rule of thumb: Never disconnect if you even think there's someone nearby. It's taboo. No. I'm serious.
