It is possible right now. The 'Zeds' have had LoS buffed but sound detection halved. So you just have to break LoS and keep quiet. If your still running like a loon they still may hear you and come round the corner gain LoS' date=' thats the start of your problem. [/quote'] Quick question: How do you lose them in the trees, then? Because stopping on the other side of that trunk doesn't work if there's more than one zed. -

Honestly, we shouldn't really have to do that... an announcement on the 'announcement' forums would suffice. But, that's just a minor complaint of mine. At least something's been said at all. -
If he were in the ocean, he could at least get back on land. We don't even know if he can get out of the ground.

When I last played, I was always within 50m of another player. And they never shot at me! In short: LFG over in the Survivor's HQ if you really want to team up. There is no safe way to do it in-game yet. So don't even try, and don't complain that you can't team up.

Yeah, but with the random pathing that zeds have, it really doesn't help. I've had zeds pull entire 180s just in time to catch me, when I thought I'd get away clean. That's the one problem I have with LOS. You never know when they're gonna look in your direction, so you're just better off crawling everywhere. -

I was bugged by this in the beginning, too. Always ranting and raving about how it was weird that I can go so long without eating, but my character sits there and pretty much starves after a few hours. Eventually got over it, chalked it up to balance issues, and zat is eet. -

So, given the recent changes (and the fact that I'm still stuck on vacation and can't find out myself), how much 'meatier' do people feel the Zeds are? I've heard they're actually a formidable force, now, but that could mean a whole slew of things. Would like to know, just so I can adjust how I feel the balances are, as per this thread. -

Okay, as a preface to this topic being unlocked again, let's talk about this rationally and in a calm manner. It's Frost's topic, but I'd rather us have a discussion here rather than the traditional: "FUK U FER TAYKIN MAH WEAPONS !!!!11!!1!!!one11!!" Or the ever present: "it's alpha, dealz wit it" I, personally, would like to see some discussion as to why and why not the gun should (not) be in the game, at least until there is an official ruling as to the validity of the statements about the gun going missing completely.
