Let's talk about this again when the DC is working 100% of the time. I've seen instances of gameplay where there was no text chat at all on side channel but that was when the DC was working.

Encountering a 5 to 10 zombie group in the woods, at night, would be sufficient enough. Perhaps trigger zombies to move from town to town in little groups that you could encounter, and engage or avoid, as u choose.

I confirm that the times are not always on sync. My clock was showing 19:30 and my mate's 18:45 and I ofc had darker environment cos of that. I think i've seen someone else saying the same thing somewhere here but this was the first bug post about it that i found.

This trick might work on some servers, idk, but so far when i have joined a server where the DC is working it pretty much works till i disconnect no matter if i change channels or whatnot while playing. -

Now that I think about it, I think I haven't climbed ladders in vA2 with a pistol in my hand. Anyway, I am more scared of ladders in this game than Zombies. -
Are there atv wheels lying around or do they use normal car wheels in this mod?

A question about channels

Direct communication allows talking and text chat in about 50m radius, albeit it doesn't work at all most of the time atm and this issue is under investigation by rocket. You should not use any other channel for talking but for text u can use the blue side chat that everyone can see. Atm global and command channel does exactly the same as blue side chat. -

Idk if this help but sometimes DC works for others so that u can hear syllable here and there but can't really pick out the words. At least it helps u to find ur mate. -
Add full Whiskey bottles that take the shakes away but adds blurry vision :) Anyways, painkillers are always on the top of my "need to find asap"-list. Just so that once the shaking starts, u can end it quickly. Atm if u play in the novice-setting servers the 3rd person mode disables shaking. It's a glitch that should be fixed.

It works sometimes, mostly not. Sometimes it doesn't work on a server after restart, sometimes it does. When it does, it is nice to play, when it doesn't the PvP is awful and side chat is spammed a lot. -
PR has this feature so I would bet it is possible for DayZ as well. It is a nice feature.

Can u lock vehicle in anyway or just try to hide it as good as u can and hope that no one steals it while u are offline? What is the meaning if the Fuel box is red? Fuel tank problem? I had the red box but full fuel and the car worked just fine.

It read elsewhere that 2 bandits can't get in the same vehicle atm. Might be that perhaps? DC didn't work at least in the FI server, this time. Played there about 3 times yesterday and it worked one time but not on the 2 other occasions.

I T must be fixed. DC is 50% of the gameplay. Ps. There is around 800 players playing the mod atm. Amazing.

I am beginning to ponder more and more about killing other players. There is a limit how much u can endure the search of "same" buildings for the same stuff and same zombie situation over and over again. The mod is repeating itself too much.

To amplify the DC's sound add Boost (or what ever it is called in Real HD audio manager or windows audio options) to max and enable or echo/noice cancelation and DC will be totally usefull in-game and sounds more than bearable. Also set Effect sounds to full in-game. I don't mind if better quality voip is implemented, i am just pessimistic (realistic) that ACRE will ever be implemented to DayZ.

Atm there is no shaking in 3rd person view when u are in need of painkillers. I've said it several times but; 3rd person mode has no place in PvP, it will be abused. Try the 1st person, get used to the clunkiness and enjoy the immersion. -
Can we talk about in-game VoIP and direct text not working?

Voip is really messed up atm. In some servers DC works, in some it doesnt. For some it does, for some it doesnt. No matter if u use PTT or not. So far the 99 slot server allowed PTT and Voice over net to work normally. The side chat was not spammed at all in that one :D In some Side voice works for some, for others it stutters and echoes. This is must be the next thing to fix. It is really making the gameplay difficult for PvP.
