+1. Right now the Czech vest is worth zero. Starting with no backpack would give it value again. In fact, players should start with absolutely nothing.

Z's visual range is a bit crazy, but we handled them ok (with AKs. Might have sucked a bit more with starter gear). They do appear to deal somewhat less damage and bleeding might happen a bit less often. One thing was a bit strange -- when we entered a barn there were at most 3 z's in the vicinity. We triggered them and took them out from the 3rd floor as they came up the stairs. By the time it was over there there were more than 25 dead. Where did they come from? I don't know if they run in buildings, but they definitely were only walking up the stairs. Overall things aren't too far off from what they should be. Maybe a small adjustment to the coefficients of the exponential visual function.

A few hours ago I found my first ghillie. It was pretty cool too, but when I logged back in after lunch it had converted itself into a set of civilian clothes. Oh well. At least I still have my AK.

Well, I got mugged by a small flimsy wooden door that I closed on myself by accident. Also once trying to crawl over the small edge at the entrance to a warehouse. I deserved that one though, because that edge was sharp!

I'm dying of thirst. No canteen. No soda. I stumble upon a dam with a small pond behind it. I am saved! I wade into the pond up to my shoulders, but I somehow can't drink. I imagine my dried-out dead body floating there in that pond.... :)

This is true, it has happened to me multiple times in various places (using 1.7.1.5). Obviously they can also still see/hear me through a wall too.

Date/Time: 06/20/2012 What happened: Crawling around a barricade, got too close to the barricade and automatically stood up, which summoned the horde. Happened again crawling around the railroad tracks, and again on the steps entering a lootable house. Maybe I'm just being a retard, but I really shouldn't ever stand up unless I explicitly try to.
