Yep, Dayz has pretty much guaranteed BI's survival for many, many years to come. Hardcore Arma fans should be very grateful for what Dean has done for their favorite game company indirectly with his mod, he's made them millions, and set to make millions more too.

I have massive respect for the modding community and all the work they do for us all. That being said, this doesn't make you exempt from criticism if your actions then become questionable at a later date. His joining Origins and selling out like this deserves all the disrespect coming to him, it is a cancerous mod that has damaged this community and that is something I cannot forgive. Taviana Martin is also in that same bracket as far as I'm concerned.

Enjoy it while it lasts vilas, because the lifespan of Origins is finite, especially once SA hits. No one will want a part of you or your mods after that, well no one with any kind of integrity anyway. I'm not gonna kiss your arse and thank you for your hard work over the years as you've pissed away all rights to that with this thread and your actions, total loss of respect. Origins is a cancer to this community, and now you're a part of it, you are no better in my eyes. As I said, enjoy it while it lasts, I hope it was all worth it.

I imagine we'll be getting another devblog within the next week or so after their next month end review (if their recent trend is to be continued). I'm very interested to hear/see this next one as hopefully we'll get some info on how successful the implementation of the new network bubble has been, as confirmed to have been completed and in testing by SmashT on here. -
Awesome news, not played this since the early beta as I have been busy with other things, but all I'll say is it was fucking brilliant then so god knows how good it it now. Still fairly sure this will be taking the Dayz community by storm once fully released. Awesome bunch of devs, very talented and so committed to making this the best it can be. You're all gonna love this.

It's just a personal preference at the end of the day, but if a compromise as you've suggested can be done that would be awesome and keep everyone happy. At the end of the day we are looking at these throughout our entire game time so a fairly important part of the experience imo.

Love the update R4zor and team, some really great features added, thanks for all the work, best update yet. The only negative I do have is the UI icons as alot of others have said, strange decision for me as they really don't fit imo at all and add a cartoony vibe to the game that I would really rather not have in a serious zombie survival sim such a s Dayz.

I know that Demon, but being able to free look in third as you are running through the country side is one of the best features of this engine and one I would absolutely hate to be removed from the game. A better solution to the exploits will need to be discovered for me, I am fully aware of them and agree they need to be addressed, I just think this would be too radical a change to one of the best parts of third person. -

You could host one yourself, that would make at least 3.......... And with the rumored increase in player count, that would probably cover off the demand for 1st person between here and Reddit going by the polls recently done ;)
