    A little bit sad that there is no new scope or some alternatives to the current ones, especially with new gun. However I'm looking forward to check the background music, I really like that feature. Also I'm wondering how fix/optimisation to player position on client vs server will behave, that was a common issue to get stuck in doors. Btw, does it mean that 1.25 will be released on May 20th?

    What? It depends on what server you want to play on. It's relatively easy to make snow blizzard that hits your temp. comfort strongly. If you add to that Syberia Project mod that introduces many new diseases, then its much harder to survive.

    Hi @Kyiara During experimental there was a "false" report that bushes tank damage and deflect bullets a lot etc. but it seems that for trees it is a thing? Which is kinda opposite to what was said during the stream, that changes of trees hitbox wont have a signifact gameplay impact.     To be honest I have worse performance on 1.24 than before. In forests FPS drops from 120 to 70-90 with some visible stuttering effect which is really annoying. After turning of antyaliasing its much better, no idea what happened.

    Looking forward for new updates this year. Could you elaborate a little what does it mean exactly? I think that in the past articles you said that the dev team will follow similar pattern during 2024 as in previous years, so does it mean it's going to change? I think that everyone already expects new DLC, probably with a new map. Console players are asking the same question regarding winter map on every social platform so I would say that expectations may possibly match with the real outcome later this year 😅 I'm wondering if you have considered doing some tiny reworks of infected sounds. I think it would be a good idea to make them a little more scary. During mod days they were more hmmn.. aggressive and violent? But not because of design or mechanics, they were just creating tough atmosphere and things were getting more intense when they were hunting you. some random example of noises I like that a lot! Probably many PvP players will complain about this, but I guess you will be able to turn it off with music volume slider. But it will create a better atmosphere for everyone else during gameplay. Interesting if its related to possibility of a new map coming or some old animals that were into production before and now may return? 🦊 Another great thing, but actually confusing one. Will you focus on updating Terrain Builder or there is a chance on moving to more modern software used for Arma Reforger? That one is also exciting - is it an inspiration from modding community (e.g. Syberia Project) or completely new approach? Last thing that comes to my mind, did you ever consider adding some mods to the vanilla base game? It is not a secret that many people who had modding background joined BI. However hiring those talented people is kinda different from adapting ready to go solutions made by community. Of course some people could say that its a little bit unfair that mod X would be implemented but mod Y not, but it would benefit the community in the end.

What's wrong with you guys? How many times they can repeat on every stream that: - cheaters are handled by BattlEye; - every case needs to be investigated, you can't ban everyone because you think that they are cheating; - they are continuously working on anticheat methods but cheaters are invtenting new ways to cheat after every update, it is not possible to get rid all of them. And they repeat that on every occasion but still there are people like you, asking the same question?

    But you know that they made that on purpose? So people dont stack barrels or chests on roads to block roads for other people with vehicles.
  17. Why do you think that they have forgotten? You can attach improvised suppressor to this rifle and I guess that this rifle is like a baby AK in AK family, lower tier weapon in 9x39 family, takes less space but at cost of not being able to silence it properly. They answered that many times already. Map is not suitable for bicyles and motorcycles. And you can experience this for yourself with bicycles mods. Terrain in many situations is very steep due to its lower amount of details and it would require basically a total revamp of whole Chernarus and Livonia map to make bicycles reliable. And I guess that its not a priority to revamp the whole map for one vehicle, instead of doing other new things and bug fixes. It happens after relogging but without closing the game right? You need to turn on and off hud in game options to have it again, pressing "~" does not always work for some reason.

    Good to hear that you still think about AI improvements. I hope that in the future you will find more resources to improve that part of the game so infected will be treated more seriously by the game veterans. Maybe that would bring more cooperation between players, there will be bigger motivation for random players to help each other. You can take some inspirations from modding community. There were few mods that touched on that topic and you could pick few things from it and polish it. For example: how to stop the abuse situation when player hits infected from above and AI is competely helpless. Some people tried to make infected's attack bigger so they could reach player's feet and hit it, it kinda works but sometimes its hard to estimate how AI can reach you. Others added jumping/teleporting ability for AI so they can climb on higher spaces but its sketchy for now, lot of flying infecteds and misplacements due to missing animations or ingame methods/features for such actions. I dont know whats your opinion about this, but since infected can climb on a wall (even one with barbred wire asset) and jump over it, it would be logical to let them climb vehicles wrecks and small walls. But of course its tricky and I guess it would require a lot of work from navmesh point of view. So maybe it would be easier to add some new types of infected? Like a poisonous/contaminated ones that can inflict some kind of venomous damage on a player standing in certain radious around such infected. It should be able to reach players standing on a wrecks, so it would block the possibility of standing here. Player would be forced to run away or hide in a building, preferably in a one containing extra upper floor. - Apart from that, Im really waiting for the February article but Im worried that you will not spoil a lot 🤣 and there are many speculations circling about the future, especially regarding Enfusion. Anyway, looking forward for new updates, good luck.

    Bring back authentic gun ballstics

    Barrel length does not matter in DayZ, its specified by velocity stat (ofc I dont say that velocity stat isnt calculated based on barrel length, but in general as a gameplay mechanic barrel length is not a thing). Anyway, there is no universal pattern that adding or cutting X cm of barrel will always have the same impact on velocity. Of course, in most cases the longer barrel should produce more velocity that affects range and damage after all but have in mind that different firearms got different barrels, different way of production, material, polishing etc and everything can change the velocity, even the fact how many bullets you have shot, if the gun is clean or not. You can even go wrong with extending the barrel and in the end you will lose the velocity because friction is high enough to start decreasing it. But, let's go back to DayZ LAR and DMR. LAR is a FN FAL and DMR is a M14. You can even check on wiki that FN FAL barrel is 533mm and M14 is 559mm (one inch). Muzzle velocity of FN FAL is 840 m/s and 853 m/s for M14. So whats wrong with LAR having less damage according to your logic? Whats unrealistic? But apart from all the details, its a survival game, not military simulator.
