The ability to zoom in with your naked eye is absolutely retarded. It definitely needs to be removed. If you want to see better, get binoculars or a scope, period.

I have been saying this is an issue anywhere on the map, not just the bunker. The only way to fix the problem is to have designated log off spots such as the entire edge of the map and a few hotels towards the middle to log off at. The ability to log off anywhere on the map at anytime ruins the game. So many people log off and on just to see where people are at because the assets don’t load in right away. People also combat log when they get in trouble. This is one of the biggest issues in the game that needs to be addressed.

I couldn’t disagree more. I originally bought the game because it’s made by arma devs. I expect a somewhat realistic experience. I do not want balance, like many others, I want realism. I understand that this game has fantasy zombies, but I expect the game to have accurate gun ballistics and player movement. You, as a company, should not be looking to satisfy everyone, only the people who got you this far, the arma crowd. You became a success with a realistic game, continue on the path. If you deviate, you will become like all the other games, which will eventually lead to you losing your original customers. There are not too many companies that make sim shooters or anything representing reality. You should want to stay in that market and have goals of owning it. If you jump into the arcade market, you have a good chance of drowning because there is more competition in said market. Don’t forget who you are and why you became successful!

The games movement needs to be fixed as well, but the thread was originally about ballistics. The movement is too fast and the gear we can carry is too much. The side to side movement is too fast as well. Looking through scopes while moving is too easy. Running up hill at the same rate as a level field is insane. Running down hill is also ridiculously fast without the consequences of possibly tripping and getting seriously injured. You are both in the same camp of making the game behave more realistically. Not sure why you guys are arguing with each other. Plenty of guys to argue with on here that would prefer the game to get even more un realistic than it already is.

It’s not just about duping, that’s just a side effect. I believe every server should be treated as individual servers, just like community by the way, one character per server. You should not have the ability to jump in a server you have never played and start off fully geared. It literally makes no sense with the games design.

Negative. Characters should not carry over server to server, period. Each server is different and should be treated as such.

I think all official servers should be 1 character per server. No traveling between servers with the same character. Each server is independent from one another.

There are so many cheaters on this forum. Hopefully the devs don’t take advice from these people that constantly use exploits and/or glitches. So many people cheating and they don’t even think they are cheating. Just terrible. -
There are several suggestions I have for the console version as well as the overall game itself. 1) On console, players constantly log out to see where players are at around them because the assets take a while to load up. In the console community, this is referred to as “hard logging.” I have a better suggestion to fix this later on, but a quick fix would be to make the entire screen black for an allotted time, say 20 seconds, so players can’t look around for others while the map assets are loading in. 2) On console, players constantly “combat log” while in a fight. Several times I snipe a player on a building to knock them unconscious, but by the time I get there, they have already logged out. This completely ruins all combat in this game. My suggestion to fix this problem, as well as the “hard logging” problem, is to make specific log out only locations on the map. For example, the entire edge of the map can be a log off spot for players as well as a few throughout the map. Something like 3 in the north, 3 middle map, 3 in the south. Having the entire border of the map as a log off spot will keep players from camping the other log off spots as much. You could also incorporate log off spots for people’s bases, but have to have a system in place where they can’t constantly log off and back in while under attack. Maybe something tied to the flag pole, if it gets lowered, they can’t log back in or out at that location. If a player logs off anywhere else in the map, the character stays in the server for say, 4 hours, able to be killed by another player. After 4 hours, the character is kicked off server, and when they rejoin they are spawned in at a fresh spawn location. 3) I know you guys have been trying to fix the problem with the alternate account problem on console, but those cheaters have already found a way around it. My suggestion is to make the gamer tag tied to a user ID number or something like that. If they want more accounts, make them pay full price for the game. Another suggestion is to increase the timer to 24 hours and make it bullet proof. The cheaters have already found a way around the current system. 4) I have heard that the game still has a duping problem. I don’t know for sure, but this needs to be fixed as well. Duping means that they find a way to duplicate their gear and have double of what they currently have. You can see that this ruins the game. In conclusion, you can see that there are a few issues with the game that ruin the honest player’s experience. I hope that someone will read these few suggestions and find a way to implement them into the game, because it will surely benefit the overall health of the game. Thank you, psn Sean_87_

The game definitely needs log off spots to fix a glaring issue in gameplay. It changes up tactics to a high degree when people have the ability to constantly log off anywhere on the map. Only way to fix this exploit is to have log off locations. The screen should also be completely black until all the assets load in to keep people from “hard logging” on console. -

That’s why I suggested the entire edge of the map as a log off spot with a few “hotels” throughout the map. It’s impossible to camp the edge of map. As far as camping the “hotels”, every point of interest gets camped. Your idea is useless and is proven not to work. Log off spots is the only way to fix the game. By the way, I never said anything about safe zones. Only talked about having areas that allow a character to leave the server. I do not believe in safe zones -
