I'm on your side when it comes to backpacks, but when it comes to shooting from vehicles, I see a lot of technical questions and problems that need to be answered and solved. The first thing to do would be to make inventory accessible in the vehicle. Then the question of what exactly happens when you shoot out of a moving car needs to be answered. Do you shoot through the sides, back, or front window? Do I have to smash the windows first to shoot? what kind of repercussions does this have on the vehicle? How do I get all this synchronized in a bubble? you see where this is going, right? (remember, how long did it take to stabilize the vehicles halfway?) That's why I see black as far as the fire from the car goes, to be honest.

Why isn't the map Namalsk also available on consoles? here are some Possible (and more or less logical) reasons: 1. Namalsk is a mod and not an official map on PC 2. mods are generally not allowed on console 3. Legal reasons (copyrights of used assets on the map etc.) 4. Financial issues/questions (resulting from 3.) 5. Compatibility of the map itself and Q/A (is it on the same level/quality standart compared with Cherno and Livonia?) but there may also be a completely different -more sentimental- reason: 6. Namalsk is Adam's gift to the Dayz PC-community (and his entry card at BI maybe) and you don't usually ask for money afterwards for gifts. Also, i'm pretty sure we would get the map for free too, if mods(maps) were available on consoles... I think, there is a much more higher chance to see a completely new official map some dayz than Namalsk. cheers

There is an issue with the small waterproof bag. It's not possible to move them with their content into your inventory or any container but Empty bags in the inventory can be filled. (playstation)

It's interesting that you think you have to clarify that. especially because no one has claimed anything in this direction so far. but when I look at the comments of Sean87 and you and compare them with each other, it is very obvious that even if you are not the same person, you are at least very close. The behavior and argumentation of both of you here doesn't really allow for any other conclusion. In any case, that you double account here in the forum to push your absurd ideas but call other cheaters for no reason and out of thin air at the same time fits very well with my overall impression of YOU! and Everyone can compare for themselfes your post here with Seans` from mid-July: (of course it`s pure coincidentally that Sean pushed his old thread the same day(Oct.19.), only 2 hours earlier before you, Swaded, posted "your own suggestions(???)" here, right? not to mention that, in both cases, it was your first and -until now- only topic in this forum ever ... xD) -

Sure, of course! That`s very obvious, bro! -rolleyes- I just like to make some conjectures about the question: Why did K. posted exactly this one? Any idea? what`s the context then? or do you believe it`s just random and has nothing to say? I`m pretty sure there is a reason behind it. do you know if it`s related to the previous commend or to the innitial one or both? And what is written on that chair, Damn it again??? can you read it? hey, What`s written there on the chair behind "you", Kyiara???(xD) Unfortunately, I can't decipher the last letter of the second word and the first letter could be L or J. (Even at maximum zoom) is it Secret LAB? LAD? JAD? JAU? JAB? JAO? LAO? or LA0? Maybe it`s just all accidental, but i think it`s a hint and You are planning something in this direction?! xD That would be great indeed!!! cheers -

most Liked: I haven't had any serious game freezes while driving a car yet! (on PS5) most Disliked: Definitely the accumulative penalty-timer for account switching. 5-10 minutes should be the max between each! about Mods: lol, ok, i was thinking about community-moderators like you in the first moment, not about community-modifications. that was a bit iritating. xD but i can`t answer that question without any mods available on Console anyways. cheers

That`s childish, stupid and disgusting!!! you can think about me whatever you want, it`s not relevant. but please try to understand some of these arguments: 1. the penalty hurts the unintended when the "ALT" is a family member who wants to play 2. as long as there are workarounds possible to avoid the penalty timer it`s pointless. 3. BI definitely can`t disable the option of multiple accounts on Playstation, only Sony themself can do this! 4. what if somebody is used to play in different groups on different servers? 5. No, it`s definitely NOT cheating! it`s what the Playstation is made for: to play with your whole family and/or to share your console with your friends. it`s possible, it`s legal and i give a shit on your sentimental feelings about this available option 6. you can`t install multiple copies of the same game on PS. It´s not intended! 7. i really wanted to discuss this topic with you in a civilized manner, but it`s difficult with maximalists like you... 8. this mindless penalty-timer will lead us to less populated official servers on console 9. did you know: you can play on a community server where it`s not allowed to use multiple acc. 10. can you accept please, that many people don`t want to play Dayz like you (and BI) try to dictate us? it`s offensive! 11. There are absolutely legitimate reasons for alts outside of people attempting to exploit the game. 12. a lot of people are going to be surprised by how many times they still get killed by what they would have previously thought was an alt, but is actually just the other half of a duo catching up 13. The parameters need to be clear. I really don’t see how 5 minutes between switches doesn’t accomplish the intended goal. Maybe even up it to 15 min 14. 15 mins max is more than enough protection to make base defending with alts unworkable. if that 3rd alt coming at 35 mins into the raid make a big difference then you are raiding wrong. Get in grab what you want and get out. 15. Currently it`s: 0 mins: Your main account 5 mins: 1st Alt 20 mins: 2nd Alt (5 mins + 15 mins) 50 mins: 3rd Alt (5 + 15 + 30) 1 hr 50 mins: 4th Alt (5+15+30+60) If we had the times be 5-15 mins with 15min being the max it would be: 0 mins: Main 5 mins: 1st 20 mins: 2nd 35 mins: 3rd 50 mins: 4th Even in the current system an alt would be coming in 5 mins. The extra super long wait times are unnecessary! 16. the most important question for community servers is now: how to remove the alt-timer? 17. any idea how many of the community servers are using the timer right now?

yeah, that`s your personal interpretation. i see that completely different. i`m thinking about my accounts more as a group of friends who are working together from time to time. and they usually live in completely different regions of the map each following his own quest and way of live mostly. PS: Unfortunately, I had to correct my previous comment because i just realized that this terrible 15 minute-penalty is still in game but i`ve used that to explain my thoughts about your suggestions a little bit more now. please look above

Hi, 1. ok, listen please to my solution for this problem, it`s very simple: Just make some use of the wakeup-sequence (after unconciousness). this mechanism is already in the game and just some adoption should be needed, i think. 2. honestly, I`m not convinced by your other suggestions, sorry. Some of my reasons are: -> your proposals are changing the whole gameplay to much and you want to sanctionize a lot of people realy bad. - >Seriously, we have an accumulative penalty-timer now since update 1.21, starting with a 5 minutes penalty followed by 15 min and raising up to 1h 50 min for the 4 acc in the row. That`s simply TOO MUCH!!! (5 minutes delay between each switch should be the max) -> I really don`t want to waste my worthful and rare free time, waiting to switch between my accounts. and I`ve never used them for any exploit during a combat situation! so, why do you want to punish me for nothing??? in my opinion, this is an encroaching mindset and in the end i´m going to play something else instead. 3. but there is one further idea of yours that is worth to talk about, i think. And that`s some kind of a, let`s call it, "soulbound-server": -> On these special offficial servers, your character is bound to it until you die and only one char/acc per console is allowed at the same time on these servers. also, I would like to see them as "tandem-servers", with each tandem composed of a pair Chernarus/livonia-maps and you can travel between them only via few transmission-points (or zones) near the border of the map. 4. but As always, many questions remain unanswered/open, here are some of them: -> is BI still in the position to limit the amount of available accounts per game on console? (I`m sure they won`t wait any second to do that if they could!) or how do you want to realize your restrictive ideas on console without Sonys support? -> would it be nessesary to install multiple versions of the game on the same console then? - > and haven`t you noticed that (since they`ve implemented the penalty-timer) there are sometimes issues, conneting to the official servers, completely independent from a possible previous attempt of acc-switching??? (you get this message here on Playstation : "server is momentarily not available!" and sometimes you need multiple attempts to get access) ->again: Is it really worth to change the game so fundamentally, only to take away my right of multi-accounting on console? 5. look, i always try to think about every idea/suggestion i have from the end: -> What is the possible outcome, what kind of new problems are thinkable? or could it be abused when i change something? -> what`s the overall impact on the whole game balance? -> what is needed: new animations? new objects/models? completely new game mechanics etc.? ->and finally: is it a useful, interesting or needed enhancement of the game ? so far, cheers PS: excuse me for my bad english please.

Sry bro, i`ve recorded this video afterwards, so the quality was lowered. Im not talking in the video but everything else should be hearable. I just want to show you, that the red signal light is more or less invisible at days now, especially in the afternoon sun! (and like i said before: This was not the case/that worse before they`ve changed the visibility of light effects in 1.21) You can only notice the effects of the red flare at 0:48m(somewhere in the background) and more clearly from 0:55m on! (--> Pay attention to the reddish glow on the door of the shack) except of these 2 very short moments there were no other recognizable signs before the shelling happened(and i heard no artillery sound for example, too!) But the no less important insight from this Video possibly is: Outdoors, you can escape from the shelling! Just run away straight from the point of impact as fast as you can! Immediately! (I made the failure here and picked up the garden lime again before i finally decided to drop it and started to sprint and that costed me a second. Nevertheless, i was able to survive and escaped from the gas with one single cut only!)

look here`s a situation, only few Dayz ago, where I narrowly escaped with my life in Gorka. as you can see, I was completely surprised from the shelling because I didn't notice any red signal light warning. But If you watch the Video very carefully, you can perceive the 2 available visual hints... ;-)

1. Before they`ve changed the behaviour/visibility of all light sources with update 1.21, it wasn`t that bad at all. At nighttime, the red flare light, signalling the incoming attack, was very good visible at all distances and during daylight it was mostly recognizeable next to the flare, too. but now it became really useless and also dangerous, because you can`t differ it`s red light from the afternoon sun anymore for example, and i`m still used to the old visibility) 2. basically, I like your idea with the handheld radios, giving them some usecase, but then i would use it for helicrashes and convois, too. But i see many problems with that idea: - what should that message in the radio be like? (a russian/english speaking person giving me some coordinates?) - or a simple ingame text message ? (like server shut down in x minutes?) - what is the range of their radio signal? - can i receive the signals with a field radio all over the map? - and is it possible to receive multiple signals/sets of coordinates at the same time then? - maybe we combine the incoming radio signals from shelling/events with the tourist map (like GPS/Compass) to show the received coordinates? - what do you think about the possible impact to the gameplay/balancing, with radios indicating specific(or all?!) random events to everybody? - and how shall it work during car driving? - but perhabs, by limiting the alerting radio-signal to an simple beep-sound cross over all frequenzies, we can avoid some of the problems mentioned above? (and the volume of the signal indicates the distance of the event?) All at all, i fear this whole thing isn`t very easy to implement in a good&balanced way into the game. 3. so, let me come back to one of Lennys suggestions: ok, why not making some usage of the loudspeakers or PA-systems? - They are hanging around everywhere in most citys, villages or military camps. - the PA-system is already capable to transmit a sound via the speakers.(VOIP) - just play a loud siren/noise/sound in/near the attacked zone(hearable for players only?) before the shelling occurs through the speakers and the Problem is solved (except for areas without a PA or speakers around of course) but there`s an unanswered question here: why, what or who the heck is activating the speakers/alert, without any electric power source connected? Unfortunately, this is difficult to justify, isn`t it? 4. finally, my Conclusion is: the easiest and laziest way would be to Recalibrate/increase the visibility of the red flare/signal light to the level it had before update 1.21, especially at short distances from point zero. greetz
